Yaroslav “Karabas” Mamuliev is a fan of the football club “Nikolaev”, representative of the team “Corsars”.

Yaroslav Vyacheslavovich Mamuliev was born on October 16, 2003 in the city of Nikolaev. He studied at school No. 31, after which he entered lyceum No. 10, where he studied as a pastry chef, but in school and student years he saw himself only in sports or the military. He began attending the first judo section at the age of 6, and at 9 he became interested in football.

Next were boxing and mixed martial arts. Already in his youth he played in MMA competitions, but rugby became his main sporting hobby. He also spent a lot of time doing jiu-jitsu and cycling.

Since his mother worked as a cook for IFC “Nikolaev”, since childhood Yaroslav spent a lot of time at the stadium, communicated with football players and cheered for them at every game. Since then, the family has kept a scarf, ball and uniform donated to him by one of the players.

In 2020, he began to support IFC “Nikolaev” in the fan sector. He was part of the team “Corsars”. Attended the club's home and away matches.

In civilian life, Yaroslav devoted a lot of time to rugby. He played for the team “Vitovka”, where he was one of the best players. Coaches always set him as an example, emphasizing: - “You need to be like Yarik.”

In parallel with this, closer to 2022, together with like-minded people, they created a voluntary formation “Avangard”, constantly improving their military skills.

When a large-scale invasion began, Yaroslav took up arms as part of the 123rd separate brigade of the TRO. At that time he was only 18 years old. Participated in the fighting in the Southern direction, in particular in the Kherson counteroffensive. In a year he transferred to the 78th regiment of the airborne assault troops “Herts”.

Soon “Karabas” went to the Zaporizhzhya direction. While in the PSV, he suffered a contusion, but did not wait for the end of the sick leave and returned to the service.

According to the memories of his relatives, Yaroslav never told about the difficult conditions, and he told his mother everything as if “he was at the resort”. He was always calm and kind.

Yaroslav Mamuliev died on July 26, 2023 while performing a combat mission in the vicinity of Robotyne (Zaporizhzhya region). Slamming a mine into a trench did not leave him and his brother any chance. Awarded the Order “For Courage” III degree.
