Soviet times
The history of the Ukrainian fan movement begins.
The last decade before the beginning of the restructuring was quite active in the domestic sports space, because fan movements appeared in many large Ukrainian clubs.
In addition to the desire to actively cheer for their favorite team, for contemporaries of those events it was also a certain gesture of disobedience to Soviet power.
This power was not liked by many in the former republics, but among Ukrainians, the dislike was always at a particularly high, genetic level.

Actually, belonging to the fan movement gave young people the opportunity to somehow express this disobedience, because much of what fans did in the USSR was undesirable, or even actively banned on the ground.

On this basis, a new generation of football fans began to appear, who, in addition to respecting the team from their hometown, now also professed love for everything Ukrainian.
90's
Everything changed with the final disintegration of the totalitarian monster.
The 90s were imprinted in the memory of the population of Ukraine as a time of difficult personal trials, and therefore for many football and active fanaticism moved to the tenth plan.
The groups became smaller, but now you could openly call yourself a Ukrainian nationalist, and not hide your love for everything Ukrainian.

The first half is the middle of zero
A new wave of football fanaticism came to Ukrainian stadiums.
At the same time, the culture of football groups began to form. Fans began to take the matter seriously, realized the need for sports in their lives, the structure of the teams became more defined and took the form of a serious organization.
In parallel with this, many large fan groups took an active part in the life of nationalist groups in their cities. They became participants in various, then not too numerous, patriotic actions aimed at raising national consciousness among the population and related things.

However, it should not be denied that most of all we were interested in finding opportunities to find out the relationship with each other. At times it might have looked pretty tough, but looking back today, we all understand what it was for.

December 1, 2013
Years went by, we became more and more. The level of organization increased with each new season. In some cases, the successes of individual teams on the field fell short of the glory of their ultras.
This continued until the winter of 2013, when on December 1, Ukrainian nationalists and fans of many domestic clubs united to oppose the criminal authorities on the capital's Maidan and avenge the beating of students by a golden eagle a few days earlier. As you know, the events of that day turned into the Revolution of Dignity, in the vanguard of which (not only in Kiev) were football fans.
At the same time came the awareness of the fact that now it is necessary to forget the old disputes over club affiliation and unite for a common goal.

An all-Ukrainian fanatical truce was concluded, the extent of which Europe did not yet know.
Revolutionary events unfolded very quickly and in almost all cities of the country. And not everywhere the situation was the same.
On the orders of the Russian curators, in some cities of eastern and southern Ukraine, the invaders sought to create non-republics and overthrow the constitutional order.
With the almost complete inaction of local authorities and law enforcement agencies, which in some places still hesitated on whose side to take, the fans turned out to be the only force that could resist something to the organized collaborators.

Odessa and Kharkiv remained Ukrainian in those days precisely because there were strong fanatical movements in these cities that rigidly pointed the separatists to their place.
Further, our state was waiting for a new test - the annexation of Crimea and the invasion of Russian troops in the Donbas.
And then the fans again became those who, without hesitation, went to the front and with their bodies, in fact, closed their native land from the enemy.
Yes, for most of us, the war did not begin on February 24, 2022, but much earlier.
The first tasks, the first battles and, unfortunately, the first casualties. Ukrainian fans fought for our Motherland with the same zeal with which they used to do their favorite thing. Without some unconscious combat experience, often even without normal weapons, but this did not scare many of us, because the price of inaction was understandable.

Eight years of war in Donbas
Changed not only our country, but also the fan movement
Spawned a plethora of legendary personalities and commanders who went into the hellish embrace of war straight from the stadium stands.
They said goodbye to the fallen comrades, like the heroes of the military expedition of the ancient world, who they really were in spirit.
The society has unequivocally recognized this fact, so in many cities you can find memorial plaques and memorial signs in honor of the fighters who wholeheartedly supported their native clubs, and gave their lives for the independence of Ukraine.

Every great military engagement of the people has its price. And this price is very scary.
Thousands of lives of defenders of Ukraine who bravely defended our common Motherland, putting their feat above everything they had and loved in peacetime.
Each such story is a separate grief of the whole family.
Another news is spread among the fan groups of the country. There was no one again. Now there will be an empty space in the sector forever.
As if torn by a flaming shell fragment, it will never heal now. Another of us will not go on a weekend to another city for our favorite team, will not tell interesting life stories in a half-darkened vestibule, will not be able to take his son to the stadium for the first time.

Behind the impersonal number 200 there is always a loss
Someone's husband, loving son, and most importantly the crying of children who will now grow up without fathersYes, they will be proud to realize that their loved ones have made an invaluable contribution to the formation of the future great Ukraine
Not to leave them alone today with their loss is our direct duty.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to return the fallen Heroes to their families, but we will not allow ourselves to forget about them.

The Tribune of Heroes
The Tribune of Heroes
That is why an initiative group of Ukrainian fans united to create the “Tribune of Heroes” Foundation
The duties of the chairman of the foundation were taken over by Tikhon Amosov - a famous representative of the AFC team (“Metalist”, Kharkiv), which marked the heyday of Ukrainian football at the beginning of zero and has an undeniable reputation among the fan community of the country.
It is difficult and Together with us the loved ones killed on the fronts of this war are helped by the stars of Ukrainian sports, famous players and coaches, journalists and football functionaries, cultural figures. A long process. Not everyone is ready, do not have the physical and moral strength for this, do not know about these opportunities.
Join the help of the families of the fallen fans and you!
After all, we know like no other that our strength in the face of the enemy lies in unity.
