Vladislav “Chernomor” Chernomorets is a fan of the football club “Dnipro”.

Vladislav Andreevich Chornomorets was born on August 9, 2000 in the city of Dnipro (formerly. Dnipropetrovsk) in the family of railway workers. He studied at school No. 123, later obtained a specialty in the Dnieper Professional College of Railway Transport and Transport Infrastructure. His main childhood and youth hobbies were chess, computer games and football, which he played most often in the position of goalkeeper.

The first departure of Vladislav for “Dnipro”, as in most of his teammates, was a trip to Zaporizhia. At that time, he was 16 years old and his parents were not allowed to go to another city. Speaking at home walking with friends, he secretly went to support the team.

Friends from the sector recall the story of how Vladislav first met his senior teammates. They could not believe that his name was actually Chernomorets, because this is the name of one of the most principled rivals of the Dnieper. At the same time, they decided that Chernomor would be better.

In civilian life, Vladislav worked as an assistant to the driver of an electric train at the Dnieper motor car depot. His goal was to work as a train driver in Ukrzaliznytsia, thus continuing the dynasty.

In 2020, he was called up for military service in his hometown, after which he signed a contract with the Armed Forces. While in the service, he found time to attend football matches, the last of which was the match of the national team of Ukraine against France at NSC “Olimpiyskiy” in 2021.

Vladislav met a full-scale invasion in one of the capital's cities. Subsequently, he was transferred to the 39th Brigade of the Tactical Aviation Forces, where he served as an anti-aircraft gunner, guarding the borders of the country in the North. In November 2023, he was seconded to the 36th Marine Brigade.

During the fighting for N.P. Krinki (Kherson region) was seriously wounded when he tried to save a wounded comrade with his own forces. After treatment and rehabilitation, he returned to health. He took part in heavy fighting in Kharkiv region, in particular in Volchansk. He distinguished himself by destroying the enemy UAV “Lancet”, as well as showing courage and courage during direct encounters with the enemy.

According to the memories of his brothers and relatives, during his stay at the Chernomor front he never complained about difficulties, always tried to support everyone around, and a smile did not leave his face.

Vladislav Chornomorets died on July 5, 2024 in the area of the national park. Staritsa (Kharkiv region), under mortar fire. He is buried in the Tarom cemetery of his native city. He was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree (posthumously).
