Pavel “Obolonchyk” Vedibida is a fan of football football clubs “Obolon” (Kiev) and “Dynamo” (Kiev), representative of the team “Obolon Crew”. Pavel Bogdanovich Vedibida was born on July 13, 1990 in Kyiv. He studied in gymnasium No. 143, after which he finished State University of Trade and Economics, where he received his higher education in the specialty “Banking” and obtained the qualification of Master in Banking. He was fond of martial arts, from preschool age he was engaged in taekwondo, was a participant in numerous Ukrainian and international competitions, the owner of the black belt (II dan).

Since his school years, Pavel has supported the team of his district - “Obolon” (later “Obolon-Brovar”), in whose sector he founded the team “Obolon Crew”, which had success both in street fights and in those that took place by agreement with the opponent. He was an extremely important person for the movement, because without him - Obolon would not have fans. He brought many young guys to the sport, while setting an example himself, taking prize places at martial arts tournaments. According to the memories of friends from the sector, Paul was a leader to whom everyone listened with enthusiasm, and his words and actions ignited friends before every fight, tournament and even just training. Also supported and repeatedly fought for Kyiv “Dynamo”

. Teammates recall the fight “Obolon Crew” in Alexandria. Then Paul was with a broken leg, but flew on crutches in the middle of the fight, because he could not watch his guys fight, and he stands aside. One of the fights together with friends from Dynamo against the Russians comes to mind, where Obolonchik beat his opponent so much that it was discussed in fan forums for some time.

During the entire stay in Rus Pasha “Obolonchik” was in the vanguard of the opposition to pro-Russian figures. With the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity, he was in the front ranks of the confrontationfrom “Golden eagle”, always went forward. Subsequently, he became the founder and first head of the Obolonsky unit “Right Sector”.

When the war began in the East - he volunteered to the ranks of the 5th separate battalion of the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps “Right Sector”. As part of the DUK PS, he took part in the battles for Ambrosiivka, Savur-Mohyla, Stepanovna, Pisky, Marynivka, Vodiane, the outskirts of Donetsk airport. Since July 2015, Pavel performed combat missions in Volnovsky district of Donetsk region and Starobilsk district of Luhansk region.

From the beginning of the full-scale war, Pavel fought as part of the 129th Separate Battalion of the 112th Brigade of the Troop of Obolonsky district, participated in the defense of Kiev, battles near Lisichansk and near the village. Toshkivka. He was wounded and suffered a contusion, and after treatment he took part in the assault actions to liberate Klishchivka during the counteroffensive. He was wounded defending the right flank of Chasovy Yar (Donetsk region).

During the years of service, Obolonchik had awards: the Medal “For Military Service” of the III degree, the Iron Cross award, the Combatant Cross badge and others. Served in the rank of senior lieutenant. “You will conquer the Ukrainian State, or you will die in the struggle for it,” - these words were Paul's slogan, he carried them through his whole life, confirming with deeds.

Pavel Vedibida died on November 13, 2024 in a gun battle in the vicinity of Chasovy Yar (Donetsk region). The farewell took place in a place remarkable in the life of Paul - not the field of the stadium “Obolon-Arena”. He was buried at the Berkovetsky cemetery in Kiev.
