Alexey “Indian” Yanin is a fan of the football club “Metalurg” (Zaporizhia), a representative of the team “Rude Boys”.
Alexey Yevgenievich Yanin was born on October 5, 1983 in the city of Zaporizhia. As a representative of the first wave of Zaporizhzhya football (the beginning of zero), Alexey caught very interesting times in the country, which now fans of different clubs tell each other in stories. We are talking about the formation of the culture of football hooligans in the domestic stands, of which the “Indian” was an active participant. It was he who at one time personally declared war on the fans of Shakhtar (Donetsk) and “Tavria” (Simferopol), with whom the Metalurg supporters later developed a rather interesting history of relations. Thanks to his charisma, he quickly became a well-known personality not only among the fans of his native club. Traveled all over the country and participated in large-scale near-football events of the zero years.
In addition to the bright and adventurous fan life, Alexey was able to realize himself in sports. He himself has repeatedly noted the fact that he began to practice as an adult, he won medals and cups of a number of domestic and international competitions. Champion of Ukraine in kickboxing. World champion in Thai boxing (muai-thai) - here is a list of the most significant awards that have been submitted to the “Indian”.
The head of the sports club “Scorpio” Sergey Ryabukhin, who saw the beginning of Alexei's ascent to sports peaks, recalls: - “Honestly, at this age they do not begin to master professional sports. And, of course, a person is already composed physically, physiologically. It was difficult for him, it was not that Alexey came and straight away everything - no. He walked such a difficult path, he is a stubborn guy, annoying, with character. And he probably began to produce results in three or four years,” he says.
At the turn of 2010, he lived in Kyiv for several years. But even in the capital, the “Indian” did not despair, constantly participating in local martial arts competitions. He did not forget his other hobby - football, joining one of the famous local teams.
In 2014, when Russia occupied Crimea and unleashed a war in Donbas, Alexey voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He immediately came to Mariupol and stayed there for a year, after which he returned home for a while. And soon after returning from military service, he continued to defend the Motherland in the ranks of a separate special detachment “Azov”, and continued to serve in Mariupol.
Alexei Yanin's wife, Tamara, says that after the birth of their son Nazariy, her husband stayed with the family for a year and 4 months. Then he returned to military service and met the occupiers in eastern Ukraine. - “It was very difficult for him not to be at war at a time when his guys were restraining Russian aggression. He wanted to fight, he wanted to avenge the deaths of his brothers. The last time we called him was when he was still injured, but he was already walking somewhere on crutches. It was sometime in the middle of March, maybe the 20th. He said it was hell, that people were dying there and it was better for us in the back of here never to see it, what was being done there,” she says.
According to official information, Alexei Yanin went to the best worlds on April 7, holding the defense of Mariupol, but the ministry reported this on May 24.
