Oleksandr “Nyuhach” Kachmaryk is a fan of football club “Karpaty” (Lviv).

Alexander Sergeevich Kachmaryk was born on April 22, 2000 in Lviv. He studied at school No. 99, and later at Lviv Cooperative Professional College of Economics and Law, majoring in “hotel and restaurant business”. From an early age, he was fond of football. Charismatic and courageous young man always and in everything aspired to be first.

Since childhood, Alexander was a kind and sincere child. He tried to help the homeless, brought them food and blankets from the house.

At the age of 15, Alexander got into the fan sector “Carpathians”. On the first trip to Zaporozhye, he went secretly from his parents, and then his father came to take him back home. On one of the next trips, I had to run away from home through the balcony, later on the same day the parents reconciled and went on a trip with friends. In the 2016/17 season he tried to make the Golden Season for the Lviv club, but he was able to attend all matches except one.

One of the teammates, with whom they “broke through” that season, remembers Alexander always smiling, with fire in his eyes, with the spirit of a true Ukrainian. He also tells - why friends did not manage to attend the same last away match “Carpathians” in the most memorable season for them both:

- “The last match was in Zaporozhye. The train is almost 20 hours away, there is little money, but how not to go? We decided to go with a hare. We agreed: if someone is caught and dropped off, we go out together, without options.

We hid on the third shelf, where the bed should be. Everything went according to plan until a few hours after departure we were counted out. I was the first to be found. And Sanya could stay, because they did not even know about him — but he, like a real brother, went out with me at night in some Volochisk, where besides us and the stray dog at the station there was no soul.

From there began our crazy journey back. We got to Ternopol by taxi, then we found a minibus to Kiev, from there we planned to catch the train to Zaporizhia. But the driver was driving so slowly that we did not have time. The match was missed. But this trip is one of the warmest and funniest adventures of my life. And all this is thanks to Sanya.”

In civilian life, he worked first in his specialty, and later as a sales manager in an online store. Colleagues recall that Alexander was selfless to work, often overworked and wanted to help everyone, Laden was the last to give.

After the beginning of a full-scale war, Alexander became a member of the 192nd battalion of the 124th Troop Brigade of the regional administration “South”. Defended Ukraine in the Kherson direction.

Even while studying in Nikolaev, on my mother's request to return home - he replied that he would not do this, because he would not be able to just walk in the area while his friends are fighting.

Alexander Kachmaryk died on August 19, 2024 on the left bank of the Dnieper River, near the Antonovsky railway bridge in the city of Kherson. He was buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv.

Eternal glory to the Hero!
