Oleg “Axion” Aksenenko is a fan of the football club “Zarya” (Luhansk), a representative of the movement “Black and White”.
Oleg Alexandrovich Aksenenko was born on July 14, 1994 in Luhansk. An active participant in the Dawn fan movement, he was very energetic, a real scoundrel and a bully, in a good sense of the word. Axion began to fight for a free Ukraine from the very first days of the Revolution of Dignity, joining the fateful events for our country on the capital Maidan.
Soon “Axion” will become one of the first volunteers of the “Azov” movement. Despite the constant problems with discipline, he was always the first to call on the most dangerous tasks. He had a hooligan temper, which is why he often lost to funny situations. One of Oleg's brothers will later recall: - “Once “Axion” went to Kiev for exams, and at that time trains once again went from Mariupol through the already occupied Donetsk. And now “Axion” wakes up in a T-shirt “Azov” at one of the stops and realizes with horror that this is Donetsk. That time, luck did not betray him and he calmly drove away.”
People around loved the 20-year-old funny guy. They say that when Oleg stood in a post in Mariupol, he was always lucky. Lulas brought a lot of food and other useful things. Once, local girls even brought a cake with the image of a trident, which they baked themselves. And he loved football very much. He was the goalkeeper of the national team “Azov” in a friendly match with Mariupol children. The Azovites then conceded in a series of penalties, and comrades joked that Axion was to blame - he did not repel. He then remarked: “Guys, we play with the kids. They have to learn to win and get used to winning. And we need to win the war so that these children live in a powerful state.”
On August 20, 2014, fierce fighting took place during the third attempt to storm Ilovaisk. “Axion” was not supposed to participate in the assault, because. the day before received a suit for violation. But he persuaded his brothers to take him as well. During the battle, the enemy threw grenades into a group of fighters, in which Oleg was located. One of them broke next to Oleg, a splinter injured his eye and leg. They say that in this way he closed his comrades next to him. The wounded “Axion” was taken to Starobyshevo, where he died while waiting for evacuation from the air.
He dreamed of expelling the enemy from his hometown and preventing the spread of separatism throughout the country. By the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated July 17, 2015, he was awarded the Order “For Courage” III degree (posthumously).
