Nazariy “Grienka” Grintsevych is a fan of the football club “Nyva” (Vinnytsia), representative of the team “Sportowia”.

Nazariy Grintsevich was born on March 10, 2003 in the city. Vinnytsia. He studied at school No. 32, after which he entered Donetsk National University. From an early age he was engaged in martial arts, in particular MMA. Also in his adolescence, he was engaged in hip-hop, at the all-Ukrainian competitions from which he won prize places. He researched the history of Ukraine, attended the boxing section and loved football.

He came to the fan sector of “Niva” at the age of 14, together with a school friend Yevgeny Lutsenko. According to the memories of his teammates, Nazariy liked to be among the patriotic guys. Since then, he tried not to miss matches, and later got into the youth composition of the team “Sportowia”. Participated in the agreed fights with fans of Kyiv Dynamo.

He started working early, from the age of 14 earning his first money at “Nova Poshta” and in construction. In the same school years, he met his beloved Anastasia, with whom they planned to create a family in the future.

As Nazarius himself told, he aspired to get into the army from a young age, from the moment he came to football. At that time, the war was already going on in the east of Ukraine, so he made a promise to himself: when he turns 18, and at that time the war will continue, he will definitely go to serve.

While studying at the first year of the university, he decided that he should go to KMB to Azov. No matter how much at home they did not want to leave somewhere far away - Nazari still left, telling his mother that he was going with friends to work in Poland. Meanwhile, headed to Mariupol. He was not yet 18 years old. Despite his slim physique, he withstood all the tests of the Azov KMB and did not even think to ring the bell.

Arriving home after the KMB, he first went in a military uniform and told his mother about everything. Then he went to the gym, where he emotionally shared his achievement with friends. On that day, a photo was taken with a friend from the movement, and the next photo of “Greenka” with his teammates was already after returning from captivity.

In “Azov” Nazari served in the artillery division, and later - as a paramedic, because from his youth he was interested in medicine.

During the fighting for Mariupol - he was one of the youngest defenders of the city, he celebrated his 19th birthday on the positions. After the enemy destroyed the cannons, “Greenka” fought as an infantryman. He was a paramedic and saved the lives of his brothers.

Shortly before his capture, Nazari said a famous phrase that the whole country heard: - “Whatever you have, love your mother, eat porridge and love Ukraine.” These words motivated a large number of people to take up arms and resist the enemy. At home, an SMS came from him “Mom, I will not be in touch for a long time, wait for me at home.”

Returning from captivity on September 21, 2022, he soon founded with his brothers the unit “Contact 12", in which he was the commander of a platoon of optical observers. Nazarius personally recruited the best and most motivated fighters into his group, selecting for those qualities that he valued in people.

Nazary used the acquired media exclusively in the interests of the unit. It was he who dressed and provided most of the soldiers with the necessary things for war. Also, the brothers mention that he was 24\ 7 looking for new, better equipment and technical means for his guys from K12.

During his service, he received a large number of awards, including the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree and the Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine”.

The brothers recall that a very young commander inspired them to fight, because by his own example he showed what a military man is, and who is a warrior. He was sincere and able to bring people together. Greenka's advice was listened to by people older, and sometimes much older than him.

Nazariy Grintsevich died on May 6, 2024 near N.P. Grigorivka (Bakhmut district, Donetsk region). The farewell took place on the field of the stadium of his native “Niva”, whose sector was once very young. He was buried on the Alley of Glory of the Sabarivsky cemetery in Vinnytsia. He was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnitsky III degree (posthumously).
