Nikolai “Livsha” Trofimchuk is a fan of the football club “Veres” (Rivne), a representative of the team “Rivne Red-Black”.

Nikolai Sergeevich Trofimchuk was born on June 19, 2003 in the city of Rivne. He studied at lyceum No. 27, after which he entered the Kvasilovsky vocational lyceum, where he acquired the specialty of auto mechanic. Subsequently, he continued his studies at the Faculty of Health, Physical Culture and Sports of the International University of Economics and Humanities named after him. Stepan Demyanchuk.

From childhood, Nikolai's greatest hobbies were football and cooking. At an early age, he tried to participate in the preparation of dishes, for which his relatives called him a “little povaryona”. Over time, this turned into a lifelong hobby: he worked in various institutions in Rivne and Kiev.

In 2021, his passion for football led Nikolai to the fan movement “Veres”. Teammates recall how he first came to the team training. It was raining, and “Lefty” in shorts was spinning in a grass swamp to get to the team. He also visited the sector of basketball BC “Rivne”. Trying to inspire others to a healthy lifestyle, he set in motion two of his friends - “Green” and “Omerika”.

They knew in the movement about his love for canned pineapples with rings. On one of the banners “Rivne Red-Black” Nikolai is depicted with pineapples.

Loved ones remember Nikolai as a very kind and sensitive person. He worried about his grandmother and younger sister, together with whom they were raised by one parent, and when he went to the military enlistment office, he followed him. So Nikolai's father met his 18-year-old son in line, in the first days of a full-scale war.

The girl Nikolay recalls that he dreamed of traveling around the world - and every evening they chose a new country, where they would go after the Victory. She often came to the frontline cities to spend at least a few days together. - “And in the realities of war, they became for us little journeys — the only opportunity to be together, even if not for long.”

At first, he served on the Belarusian border as part of one of the local units of the TRO. Subsequently, he transferred to the 3rd OSHBR, where he took the nickname “Livsha” and fought as a senior gunner. After fighting in Bakhmut and Avdiivka, he was awarded the Order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces “Golden Cross”.

Friends in arms recall “Lefty” as a man with a strong character. He never complained about front-line weekdays, was in good humor and tried to cheer up his comrades even in the most difficult conditions. When he lost a brother, he tried to lead his family every time. Supported and helped when coming for the weekend.

Mykola Trofimchuk died on August 16, 2024 while performing a combat mission in the Luhansk direction. He was buried in the cemetery “New” in his hometown. Awarded the Order “For Courage” III degree” (posthumously).
