Igor “Kozatsky” Krasnobrizh is a fan of the football club “Mariupol”, a representative of the team “Project 32".
Igor Vitalievich Krasnobrizh was born on March 15, 1995 in the city of Mariupol. Cheering for the local team of the same name, he joined the fan movement, coming to the sector in 2011. Later he joined the neighborhood group “Project 32". Representatives of the “Project” had friendly relations with teams from other cities (in particular fans of Shakhtar, Kryvbas and Chernihiv “Desna”), among which there were many fighting comrades. He served as part of the Azov regiment since 2014. In 2017, he temporarily left the service. He returned to a separate special purpose detachment of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine “Azov” in 2021.
Two months before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, Igor, along with his friendly Ella and daughter Maya, moved into new housing. They began to get used to the house, arranged a room for a little daughter, but did not have time to live there. The war began. “Cossack” and his brothers went to meet the enemy in battle, and at this time his relatives found shelter in the basement at the other end of the city. During this time Igor saw them only twice. On March 8 and 12, he came to the house where they hid from enemy shelling of the city, at the same time for the last time he took a picture with his daughter.
Igor Krasnobrizh died near the Azovstal plant as a result of an enemy ambush. Covering his brother, he received a bullet in the leg, which blocked the artery. Died on the spot. For personal courage and selfless actions in defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, exemplary performance of official duty - he was awarded the Order “For Courage” III degree. Posthumously.
A true warrior of modernity, who knew the history of the Motherland well and admired the great historical figures of antiquity during his life - gave the most dear for his country. Cossack's donation will not only be a reason for his daughter's pride and a model of courage for his teammates, but also an example of true courage for each of us.
