Evgeny “Tungus” Roldugin is a fan of the football club CSKA (Kyiv), representative of the team “Praetorian Guard”.

Evgeny Alexandrovich Roldugin was born on August 15, 1995 in Khmelnitsky. He studied at the Technological Multidisciplinary Lyceum named after him. Artem Mazur, after which he entered the Faculty of Geography at the Chernivtsi National University named after him. Yuriy Fedkovich. At the age of 9, on the advice of his father, he began to practice judo. Having signed up for the section, I did not leave this sport throughout my life, with short breaks for boxing, karate and football.

Among the school subjects, he was most fond of history and geography, but when choosing a university, he was also guided by the desire to improve in sports, and in Chernivtsi he was just recruiting for the section on the Pancration. He performed at competitions and won the title of master of sports in pancration and grappling, became the owner of the purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Devoting a significant amount of his life to jiu-jitsu, Eugene had many friends among athletes throughout the country. So, together with friends from Ivano-Frankivsk, he got into the fan movement of the capital CSKA in 2012. In those years, the football team experienced times of decline, but fans regularly gathered to try their hand against rivals from different cities of the country. Together with friends, Eugene became a participant in a number of memorable events.

In December 2013, revolutionary events began. Eugene fully immersed himself in the struggle against the criminal power of that time. And when the enemy began to invade the East of the country, he began to look for options to get to the front. All benefits were denied to him, because at that time he was only 18 years old and had not served in the army before. But that did not stop him, and in the end he achieved his goal. On the day of the 19th anniversary, having picked up sports medals, he went to ask for war, so he got into the battalion “St. Mary”.

“Tungus” fought in the hottest points of the country: near Mariupol, in Pisky, Avdiyivka, in the village of Opytne. He was a participant in the battles for the area of the mine “Butivka”. In between rotations, he trained and played in competitions, was engaged in coaching and refereeing, and graduated from the university in absentia. He was awarded six honors, including the Order of the Knight's Cross of the Volunteer and the honorary distinction “For the Liberation of Mariupol”.

Returning from the ATO/OOS in a difficult moral condition, he faced a negative attitude towards volunteers. He made a pilgrimage to the Maniava Monastery with one loaf of bread and a bottle of water, where he prayed with the monks for three days. Having started walking on his father's birthday (March 23), he returned for his mother's birthday (April 2).

He began writing the book “Time of the Brave”, on the pages of which he told readers about the generation of volunteers in 2014, and also shared his own life memories. In an easy-to-read style, the author recalls why he exchanged sports kimono for a body armor, and football confrontations for a war for his native land. Unfortunately, the book never came out during the lifetime of Eugene. It was printed in June 2023, with additions by the father.

He was a regular member of the TMS jiu-jitsu league. He won the honorable second place at his last tournament, which was held in the Polytechnic College of the city of Khmelnitsky on February 6, 2022.

In the first days of a full-scale war, “Tungus” went to Odessa to rescue civilians. Returning home, he immediately went to Kiev, where as part of the battalion “Brotherhood” he took part in the defense of the capital, showed himself in combat in the Second World War. Lukyanovka. He received numerous gunshot wounds to his arms and legs in the village of Nova Basan in Chernihiv region, where he commanded a battalion.

After recovery, he took courses of combat medics in Ternopil, where he met his beloved Elena. Hetman Ivan Mazepa joined the ranks of the 54th OmbR. Evgeny Roldugin died on September 11, 2022 near the village. Belogorovka in Luhansk region, rescuing a seriously wounded man at the BRDM, ran into anti-tank mines. Two explosions took the lives of Eugene, the driver of the car, and their wounded brother. He was buried in his native Khmelnitsky.
