In 2012 he married his beloved girlfriend Olga.
Being a defectoscopist by specialty, Eugene went to work in Russia since 2010. Before the events of 2014, he and his wife and daughter lived in Sverdlovsk. But already in the first days of Russian armed aggression in Crimea, he told his wife: - “No, we will not live here. It is impossible to live here, we must leave here,” after which he returned with his family to Novopskov. The occupation of Luhansk began. The man attended pro-Ukrainian rallies in Luhansk, even when he no longer lived in the city. He had an active civic position, acutely experienced all the events that took place in the country.
Throughout his life, Novopskov had to work in different countries and different spheres: both in gas, and in construction, and as a mechanical engineer at a utility company. But for the last three years before the full-scale invasion, he worked as a welder in the Czech Republic. He was a master at all costs, no matter what he took - he brought everything to the end, worked skillfully, diligently, and wisely. At home, he was a caring, reliable and loving husband, took care of his family, loved his daughters immensely, and valued family. Together with his wife, they raised children in patriotism and love for Ukraine. Although Eugene spent a long time abroad, he dreamed of living at home, opening his own business, traveling the world, seeing the ocean.
The wife recalls that Eugene knew about the upcoming full-scale war in advance, and therefore thought out options for the family to leave abroad. He resigned on the very first day of the Great War, and on the next he was already in Lviv. “I can not sit abroad and watch the news that is happening. Who but me?” - so he informed his wife about his decision. For several days he helped in the manufacture of anti-tank structures, after which he went to the military registration commission. In Lviv, Novopskov could not join the army, because enough people had already been recruited there, so he went to Kiev. After stopping in Vinnitsa, he went to the local military registration and enlistment office, and on March 6 he took the oath. After a short period of training, he went to Donetsk region.
