Gordy “Bang” Kiktenko is a fan of the football club “Oleksandriya”, a representative of the team “Supporters Aleksandria” (SA07).

Gordy Alekseevich Kiktenko was born on December 19, 1992. At the age of 4, he prematurely lost his mother, remaining with his grandfather and grandmother, who raised him. In 2008 he graduated from the Alexandria School No. 15, and in three more years - vocational school No. 17, with a specialty “broad-profile machine operator”. In addition to actively supporting the local football club and participating in the life of the SA07 fan team, he was fond of hip-hop dancing and drawing.

After training, Gordy was called to military service in the Armed Forces, where he soon continued to serve under contract. After retiring in 2013, he returned to Alexandria. During the revolutionary events that began in December of the same year - he was in the ranks of the Alexandrian Self-Defense, with whom he alternated at the checkpoint. With the beginning of the Russian invasion in Donbas, he signed a contract to serve in the military reserve of the NGU, going to the front as part of the special purpose battalion “Donbas”.

During the summer of 2014, “Bang” managed to take part in a number of operations to liberate the settlements of Donbas from the occupiers. Hordiy Kiktenko died on August 29, 2014 in the infamous “Ilovai cauldron”. The tragedy occurred in the village of Chervonoselske during a battle with Russian paratroopers, when the Ukrainian military tried to break out of the encirclement. Today we all know that the so-called “green corridor” has turned into the cold-blooded murder of our Warriors. And then Gordy, trying to break through with his group, rose to full height with a machine gun in his hands, and began firing at the occupiers.

In that battle, one of the youngest fighters of the battalion “Donbas” received wounds incompatible with life. Subsequently, his body, along with the bodies of 96 more Ukrainian Soldiers who had fallen in Ilovaisk, were brought and buried at the Verbolozovsky cemetery in Oleksandriia. February 26, 2015, “for personal courage and high professionalism shown in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”, Gordiy Kiktenko was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree (posthumously).
