Dmitry “Dynamo” Ivanov is a fan of the football club “Dynamo” (Kiev).

Dmitry Alekseevich Ivanov was born on January 17, 1988 in Kiev. He studied at the school No. 255 of Kyiv, and in 2005 he entered the National Aviation University, where he received a full higher education in the specialty “Telecommunication Systems and Networks” and obtained the qualification of a communications engineer. All childhood and youth hobbies were associated with two things - sports and fishing. He played for the national team of football and basketball schools, in parallel engaged in rowing, and when he wanted peace - he always went fishing, no matter - winter or summer. In general, he loved sports, watched the Olympics, knew different results and always supported Ukrainian athletes from any disciplines. Every morning I bought a few sports newspapers. At the age of 11, he began canoeing in the Palace of Children and Youth (former Palace of Pioneers) had a 1st adult rank.

For the first time Dmitry got to the stadium in 2000, and already in 2006 he fully participated in the fan movement of the capital club. He had a peculiarity that distinguished him from many teammates, he loved Dynamo with all his heart, loved to come to the stadium even when there were no matches. He said, “I'm home here.”

In 2011-12 he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In civilian life, he worked in the alcohol company “Bayadera Logistic” LLC in Moscow. Kyiv as a senior sales manager. According to the memories of his relatives, Dmitry's biggest dream was to end the war, get married and have children. In general, he loved children very much. Unfortunately, that dream never came true.

Friends remember Dmitry as a bright and cheerful person, always ready to come to the rescue. With his smile and positivity, he charged the people around. In his free time, he loved various sports competitions, but a special place in his heart was occupied by his native football team, in honor of which he later took a nickname.

From the first days of the full-scale war, Dmitry joined the ranks of the 112th brigade of the 126th battalion of the TRO Armed Forces. Participated in the defense of the Kiev region, after which he went to the Donbas. Served in Donetsk region: Kramatorsky district, m. Kramatorsk, s. Yarova; Sloviansk district, s. Pryshyb; Bakhmut district, s. Grigorivka; Luhansk Oblast: Siverodonetsk District: Kremina Urban Territorial Community: s. Dibrova.

Dmitry Ivanov died on January 23, 2024 while performing a combat mission in the area of the village. Dibrova (Lugansk region). Rescuing his brethren, he returned time after time and carried off the severely wounded, although he himself already had injuries to his upper and lower extremities. During the last approach to the position for the evacuation of the boys, he came under mortar fire and received injuries incompatible with life. He was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree and the Iron Cross (posthumously).
