Vladimir “Khodor” Khodakovsky is a fan of the football club “Dnipro” (Cherkasy).

Vladimir Vladimirovich Khodakovsky was born on December 31, 1999 in the village of Sokolivka (Uman district, Cherkasy region). He studied at the Sokolovsk NVC “School of I-III degrees - lyceum”, after which in 2017 he continued his studies at the Cherkasy National University named after him. B. Khmelnitsky. From an early age, he was fond of sports - football, powerlifting, weightlifting. He came to the fan sector of Cherkasy “Dnipro” at the age of 17, as soon as he moved to Cherkassy, attended home and away matches of his native club.

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Cherkasy fan movement, being far from the largest in the country, has produced many brave warriors. Vladimir also sought to defend the Motherland, having learned about the regiment “Azov” at the age of 14, set himself the goal of joining its ranks. After the second year of the university, he transferred to a part-time form of study, signed a contract with the National Guard of Ukraine and further combined his studies with military service in Mariupol.

In the winter of 2022, Hodor's contract was already nearing completion, and he himself was at home on vacation. But, the approach of the Great War was obvious to the Azov movement, so on February 24 he returned to his brethren in Mariupol. Participated in the hottest battles for the city, as a senior soldier of the Azov regiment. He became one of the symbols of the defense of the city, because in those days, perhaps every Ukrainian saw pictures with Vladimir in social networks.

On April 17, he was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree, on July 29, 2022 the Order “For Courage” of the Second Degree, unfortunately posthumously. Vladimir Khodakovsky died on May 8, 2022. As a result of an enemy air strike, one of the bunkers in which the Ukrainian military was located was destroyed. Also, this blow ended the lives of many of his brothers.
