Vladislav Zhuk is a fan of the football club “Metalist” (Kharkiv), representative of the team “Glory Juniors”.

Vladislav Aleksandrovich Zhuk was born on April 10, 1997 in the city of Kharkiv. He studied at school №126, after which he continued his studies at the Kharkiv College of Transport Technologies.

Since childhood, he was very fond of football and at the age of 15 began to visit the fan sector “Metalista”, and in 2017, together with friends, founded the All-Around Football Team “Glory Juniors”.

In addition to actively participating in the life of his team, he was also a drummer at the fan stand of the Kharkiv club. Friends recall Vlad as a true leader who could often help his teammates with cause and advice, taught how to solve difficult life situations, set priorities and value the team. In early February, before the start of a full-scale war, realizing that everything would start soon, he reassured his friends and said: - “The main thing is to live the first 2-3 days.”

Vladislav Zhuk died on March 1, 2022 as a result of an enemy missile hitting the building of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration. Around 8:00 a.m., the first rocket arrived. Being near the epicenter of the explosion and hearing someone moan from under the rubble, he ran to save people. Vlad's friends say that knowing him, they understand - he could not have done otherwise. Unfortunately, then no one could have thought that a second rocket would soon arrive.

Trying to get people out of the rubble, Vladislav fell into the epicenter of the second explosion, as a result of which 4 floors of the building fell on him. His life was cut short at the moment when he saved others.
