Vitaly “Zhuzh” Plaksin is a fan of the football club “Metalurg” (Zaporizhia), a representative of the old school fan movement.

Vitaly Anatolyevich Plaksin was born on February 02, 1982 in the village of Shelyugi (Zaporizhzhya region). From an early age he was fond of football, carried this passion through his whole life. He became a student of Zaporizhzhya National University, where he studied at the Faculty of Olympic and Professional Sports and received a diploma of football coach.

In addition to active participation in the Metalurg fan movement, he was a player for several city futsal and mini-football teams. When a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began, Vitaly voluntarily went to defend his native land. In 503 Marine Brigade, he was the chief gunner for grenade launchers and had the callsign “Hardcore”.

Vitaly Plaksin died on August 20, 2022, near the national park. Sands (Donetsk region), as a result of hitting his dungeon by an enemy tank shell.

Together with Vitaliy's relatives and relatives, the entire football and fan community of the city suffered irreparable loss. Friends recall that “Zhuzh” participated in many fan tournaments, and also came to his parents every year to collect cherries, which the Zaporizhzhya region is famous for. Unfortunately, now Vitaly's parental home is still under temporary occupation. The family of the deceased believes that Ukrainian lands will soon be liberated. Wife and son know that the donation of a loving husband and father was in vain.
