Vitaly “Vitaha” Stiba is a fan of the football club “Veres” (Rivne).
Vitaly Anatolyevich Stiba was born on June 22, 1999 in the city of Rivne. He studied at the 25th school, and later at the Technical College of his native city. Passion for sports and outdoor activities at a young age led him to the fan podium of the local club “Veres”. During this period, Vitaly made many new friends in sports and patriotic circles. In particular, he was involved in the extra-football events as part of the capital block “Rodichi”, of which his team was a part.
Older brother Dmitry recalls that Vitaly was very fond of traveling. This was facilitated by his steely character, which at the same time complemented by his boundless kindness. And he was a faithful son of Ukraine. At the end of June 2022, Vitaly married his beloved Anna.
He went to defend his native land as part of the special unit “Honor” of the battalion “Wolves Da Vinci” of the DUC. He met Vitakha's brothers long before the war on the basis of patriotic and sports events. Company commander Sergey recalls: - “He was revered, respected, he had many acquaintances almost all over Ukraine. When the full-scale invasion began, a sizable group of ultras joined our unit. Among them was Vitaly. He is extremely honest, resilient, and courageous. He constantly improved, studied, did not stop for a moment and in a short time reached a high level in military affairs. I am proud to have him as part of our team.”
Vitaly Stiba went to his last fight on August 23, 2022. While cleaning in the vicinity of Bakhmut (Donetsk region) fighters were ambushed. The enemy greatly outnumbered the enemy in terms of numbers and weapons, but received a decent rebuff. As a result, a massive artillery barrage began. “Vitaha” was injured and stopped communicating. The brothers thought that he had died immediately. But soon he got in touch again, only to report that he would defend Ukraine until the last breath.
On August 29, 2022, the Warrior, who showed extraordinary courage and steadfastness in battle, was buried in Rivne at the cemetery “Nove”. He has a wife, as well as ten brothers and sisters.
