Vitaly Nikandrov is a fan of the football club “Arsenal” (Bila Tserkva).
Vitaly Nikolaevich Nikandrov was born on July 21, 1995 in the city of Bila Tserkva (Kiev region). He studied at school No. 22 of his native city. Since childhood, he was fond of sports, in particular boxing and football. In boxing competitions, he took prize places and was an ardent football fan. After graduating from school, he enrolled in Belotserkovsky vocational school №5 in the specialty “auto mechanic”.
Love for football and street adventures, in 2010 brought Vitaliy to the fan sector of the local Arsenal. Since at that time the fan movement in Bila Tserkva was just reaching its peak of popularity, the enterprising young man became one of its founders and leaders in the sector. Supported the team at home and away games, sometimes punching away alone. So on thematic publications you can still find photos, where during Arsenal matches in Ternopil and Nikopol, only one fan supports the team on the guest stand. He also actively attended the matches of “Alexandria”, with the movement of which the Belo-Church fans developed friendly relations. Teammates recall that in those years Vitaly, always proactive, was a real spark for the movement.
After graduating from school, in October 2013, he voluntarily went to military service in the army (National Guard of Ukraine). At that time, his motto in life was the following expression: - “I will go to serve - how far away and where it is tougher.” In the spring of the following year, the Russian invasion began in eastern Ukraine, and on October 5, 2014, Vitaliy was sent to Shyrokina (Donetsk region), where he participated in ATO.
Demobilized from the National Guard in 2015 - he realized that his vocation was to become a defender of his family and native land. He said: “Who, if not me.” In September 2016, he entered the Odessa Military Academy. He was trained according to the NATO standards in the city. Yavoriv. During the years of study at the academy and after its graduation, he actively manifested himself in many areas of life. Participated in parades for Independence Day, sports competitions in running, as well as football tournaments among sports clubs in the city. Avdiyivka during service in 2021.
But despite the tight military schedule, he always found time for his family and his favorite football. He knew almost all football clubs in Ukraine and abroad. I was interested in everything connected with them. On February 11, 2022, in the rank of lieutenant, he was sent by the commander of the intelligence unit to the border of three countries (Ukraine, Russia, Belarus). From that time until the moment of the full-scale invasion, he was in various settlements. After February 24, 2022, he stood in defense of Kiev, Gostomel, Bucha. He had a positive attitude and was not afraid of anything, always assured: - “Everything will be Ukraine!”
After participating in the defense of the capital, he received the rank of senior lieutenant and served as assistant chief of the intelligence staff of the 1st Rifle Battalion of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade in the city of Zaitseve (Donetsk region). Vitaly Nikandrov died in battle near Bakhmut on August 12, 2022. We said goodbye to the devoted football fan and faithful son of Ukraine in their hometown.
