Vitalii "Fanat" Kyryliuk was a supporter of the Zirka Kropyvnytskyi football club and a member of the Howl Volcano Firm group.
Vitalii Oleksandrovych Kyryliuk was born on June 17, 1995, in the village of Verbliuzhka, Kirovohrad region. He attended the Verbliuzhka secondary school before enrolling at the Kropyvnytskyi Construction College. From a young age, his greatest passions were football and reading.
In 2015, his love for football brought Vitalii to the stands as a supporter of Zirka Kropyvnytskyi. He was involved in the football fan scene as part of the HVF group. This period of his life inspired his military call sign, "Fanat" (Fan).
In civilian life, Vitalii worked as a network development manager for the Bon Boisson brand in Kropyvnytskyi. He was a socially active citizen.
He met his future wife, Anna, in 2016, and they married at the end of 2019. Two years later, their daughter, Milana, was born.
According to his family, Vitalii was a responsible and caring person, a loving husband, and a devoted father to his daughter, who called him "Tatik."
In the summer of 2023, Vitalii joined the ranks of the 1st Separate Marine Battalion of the 36th Brigade. He served as a radio-telephone mechanic in the communications platoon command section. After just over a year of service, he earned the right to attempt the marine beret qualification course. In October 2024, after successfully completing all stages of the trials, he received his long-awaited beret.
He fought in the Kherson, Kharkiv, and Kursk regions, as well as on the Sumy and Donetsk fronts. To his fellow soldiers, he was a loyal comrade who could always be relied upon. He was always eager to learn and read extensively, even while on duty.
Vitalii Kyryliuk was killed on July 16, 2025, while performing a combat mission near the village of Raiske in the Donetsk region. He is buried in the Alley of Honorary Military Burials at the Dalekoskhidne Cemetery in Kropyvnytskyi.
