Valentin “Valet” Prysic is a fan of the football club “Niva” (Vinnitsa), a representative of the team “Greenadiers”.
Valentyn Romanovich Prysic was born on August 11, 1994 in the Shevchenko farm of the city of Vinnytsia. In 2012, he graduated from school No. 30, entering Lviv National University in the same year. AND. Franko at the Faculty of Philology. In 2013, in parallel, he began his studies in absentia at the Faculty of Journalism, at the same university. In 2014-15 he practiced in Germany. Among his school hobbies were geography and foreign languages, and from his youth he was interested in the history of the ancient world, the development of tribes, peoples and civilizations.
Valentyn began to be fond of football since childhood. Together with friends he played in Vinnytsia amateur teams. In school years, he began to cheer for “Niva” in the fan sector. In April 2008, the team “Greenadiers” was founded, to which Valentyn soon came. Despite his young age, he often attended outings, and at home matches he held the flag and helped to carry the paraphernalia.
Friends from the fan sector recall one of the adventures on the trip to Borodyanka (Kiev region) in August 2008, where the capital CSKA and another “Niva” - Ternopil - played on the same day. After the game, the Vinnytsia team invited fans to their bus on the way back. But later the bus was attacked by fans from Kiev and Ternopol, smashing it. They returned to Vinnitsa together with the team on a broken transport.
From the beginning of his studies at the university he lived in Lviv, worked in trade with German-speaking countries. In parallel, he took IT courses, aspired to become a business analyst. He was a fan of rock music, in his spare time he attended Ukrainian and foreign rock festivals.
At the beginning of a full-scale war, Valentine was actively engaged in volunteer activities. He was a participant in hacker attacks on enemy information resources, and also raised funds for the 80th DSB.
In May 2022, he voluntarily mobilized to the ranks of the Armed Forces. After training at the 205 Training Center for Tactical Medicine, upon personal request he enrolled in the 95th DSHB, where he served as a combat medic. Participated in operations near Dovhensky, liberation of Izyum and Elyman. Risking his life, Valet provided assistance to wounded comrades under artillery and mortar fire.
On the morning of September 17, 2022, Valentin and his two brothers were ambushed during the de-occupation operation of the Lyman district (Donetsk region). While helping wounded brothers, Valentin Prysic died from a shot by an enemy sniper. He was buried in the village of Pirogovo (Vinnytsia region). Awarded the Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine” (posthumously).
