Valentin “Paraguay” Fedorovich is a fan of the football club “Podillya” (Khmelnitsky).

Valentin Olegovich Fedorovich was born on October 14, 2000 in the city of Khmelnitsky. He studied at school No. 19, after which he entered the Khmelnytsky University of Management and Law named after him. Yuzkov, where he mastered the specialty “social security” and “public administration and administration”. He spent all his childhood in sports: judo, football, freestyle wrestling, volleyball, rugby. For some time he studied to play the saxophone, and later on the guitar.

The fan sector of the Khmelnytsky “Podillya” began to visit in 2016. Teammates remember Valentine as always an active and proactive participant in the movement. Participated in all events and did not miss a single trip. Drawing a banner, organizing a pyro show for the sector, or taking part in a direct action action - all this he supported.

According to the memories of his relatives, Valentine from childhood had a firm patriotic position. At the age of 13 he took part in the events of the Revolution of Dignity in Khmelnitsky. Even before his 18th birthday, he actively participated in the political life of Khmelnytsky territorial community as a member of youth and patriotic organizations “National Corps” and NGO “Sokil” under the city council. Engaged in volunteer activities.

In 2018, he took the training course of the Decades “School of Junior Commanders named after Axion and Homa”.

At the age of 17, Valentin went to Donbas as a volunteer of the Right Sector. Participated in hostilities near Maryinka and Avdiyivka.

Deciding to join the Azov Regiment, and keeping it a secret from his relatives for a long time, he passed the CMB in 2019 and began service as a senior mortar gunner. During 2019-22 he took part in battles in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. He also conducted military exercises on the basis of training “Atek”. Passed training courses according to NATO standards.

The brothers recall that “Paraguay” always accepted any challenges and was not afraid of difficulties. He was interested in medicine, which he did for some time in the unit besides mortars.

Valentyn met the beginning of a full-scale war in Mariupol as a mortar commander, and when the BC ended, he performed combat tasks as part of an infantry group. Despite the complexity of the situation, Paraguay remained optimistic and inspired by its own example other defenders of the city.

Valentin Fedorovich died on March 22, 2022 as a result of an enemy aircraft bomb hitting an observation post. It was possible to say goodbye to the fallen defender after more than 2 years. He was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree (posthumously). He is buried on the Alley of Glory cemetery in the Rakove neighborhood.
