Vyacheslav “Klyuch” Klyuchinsky - a fan of the football club “Polissya” (Zhytomyr), a representative of the team “Zhytomyr Lads”.
Vyacheslav Vyacheslavovich Klyuchinsky was born on May 12, 1999 in the village. Olizarka (Zhytomyr region). He studied at Lyceum No. 33 and Zhytomyr Agricultural Technical College, and later entered the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. Since childhood, he was involved in sports, loved to play football and volleyball.
Supported Zhytomyr “Polissya” in the fan sector since 2016. In the same year he joined the team “Zhytomyr Lads”.
Teammates recall: - “Slava joined our team almost at the beginning of its existence. During the revival of the club. Their company came to one of the houses, they met, and since then they began to actively support Polissya everywhere. He often helped with preparation for matches, drawing banners. Of course, it all developed into friendship and communication and in the off-season.
At the outings, Slava was always one of those who completely poured into the field coaching and created its whole atmosphere. They always knew if he goes - it will definitely be fun and without all sorts of adventures, the trip will not be worth it. He was also one of the most active among us in supporting the volleyball club “Polissya”. Even after joining the ranks of the NGU, Slava always broke out on occasion to some home, to break out, to a fan tournament or various promotions.
That's how we remembered him, cheerful and selfless. To the end loyal to our club, team and Ukraine.”
From the age of 18 he worked in the company “Zhytomyrgaz”, combining work with studies. From the first day in the team, he showed himself as a responsible and smart employee. Employees still remember him only in kind words.
In civilian life, in addition to football, his great hobby was fishing. In almost every weekend he liked to go out into nature, relax and half a fish.
In 2019, he decided to devote his life to military affairs, joining the ranks of the National Guard. He combined military service with fan life, found time to support his native club.
In the summer of 2022, he married his beloved Elizabeth.
Vyacheslav met the beginning of a full-scale war at the front, he fought as part of the 1st Presidential Brigade of operational assignment named after hetman Petro Doroshenko “Burevi”. He was the commander of the reconnaissance division of the special purpose reconnaissance platoon of the 2nd Operational Battalion.
The brothers recall that during the service “Key” was always ready to come to the rescue. The commander treated subordinates exclusively with respect, supported both morally and physically. I visited many hot spots in Luhansk region, Donetsk region and Kharkiv region.
During his service, he was awarded the badge “For Valorous Service” and the medal “Unbreakable Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War”.
Vyacheslav Klyuchynskyi died on July 19, 2023 near the village of Novovodyane (Luhansk region), holding back an enemy offensive. Awarded the Order “For Courage” lll degree (posthumously). He was buried at the Smolyan military cemetery.
