Svyatoslav “Saint” Kirilin is a fan of the football club “Zirka” (Kropyvnytskyi), a representative of the team “Howl Volcano Firm”.
Svyatoslav Pavlovich Kirilin was born on June 13, 1994 in the city of Kropyvnytskyi (formerly. Kirovograd). He studied at Lisov Secondary School, received basic secondary education. In 2010 he entered the Kirovohrad Engineering College of Kirovohrad National Technical University. As a child, he was fond of break dancing (dance club “Forsyth”), workout, rap culture, went to a school theater group. Participated in the first season of the show “Maidan's”.
Even as a child, Sviatoslav showed a love of will and freedom. When his parents punished him for some wrongdoing and forbade him to go out to friends, he waited for the moment for everyone to fall asleep. I climbed on an apricot growing under the house, and when it was cut, gas pipes came in handy. The young man began to admire football culture at an early age together with his classmate and, at the same time, his best friend. A funny story happened to them during the creation of a characteristic image, namely the hairstyle of a friend. Holiday agreed to the role of a hairdresser, but the hair clipper broke down halfway before the end of the process, and the guy had to walk with a rather specific hair clipper for a while until friends found a working trimmer.
Teammates recall that Sviat came to the podium as a teenager and immediately began to “turn on” what, where and how. - “He became one of the so-called “new wave” of Volcanoes, which created, in fact, what is called today's H.V.F. Svyatoslav was a Cossack with a cool and natural sense of humor and ease, which is immediately felt from a person of good character. To retreat - it was not about him, but to fall into a cool ugar, or to defend his colors, he was always ready and always striving for it. We can say that Holidays is an example of how not being a fashionable athlete, with coloring on the body, being a lion inside and a natural adventurer, which have always moved our country forward! Having shown himself in both forest and classic football encounters, he has forever inscribed himself in the history of our movement. For Svyatoslav it was a pride to wear a T-shirt of the company, and now for all of us, pride is that we can be part of the world in which the real modern Knight of the Spirit lived and fought!” - friends share memories.
At the end of 2013, football fans were at the forefront of those who rebelled against the then criminal authorities. In 2013, he took an active part in the Revolution of Dignity, defended his own beliefs in the rights and freedoms of the Ukrainian people.
Soon the Russian invasion began in the East of the country and in February 2015 Svyatoslav joined the army. Repeatedly participated in the anti-terrorist operation on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions as part of the 128th Separate Mountain Infantry Brigade. In 2018, the contract ended, and immediately after its expiration, he again went to defend Ukraine as part of the 3rd Special Operations Regiment. Participated in the PLO in the Donetsk region. During the years of military service, he had honors and awards, including: Badge “For excellence in military service” of the third degree (2016), Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine”, 2017 and others.
In 2020, Svyatoslav quit for the second time, having plans to focus on civilian life, he got a job at the company “Viktoria-Felise”, where he was engaged in the installation of equipment for cellular communication. But the plans remained unfulfilled. The very next day after the beginning of a full-scale war, he voluntarily went to defend his native land from the enemy invasion. Served as a sniper rifleman of an assault platoon in the 35th Brigade of the 137th Separate Marine Battalion.
When Svyatoslav came home on vacation after successfully completing another combat mission, he told many stories. Those close most remembered the story of his combat comrade “Bubokhok”, also known as two meters of disgrace. In civilian life, Bubochka was professionally engaged in beekeeping. On particularly noisy nights, when enemy artillery was on their wings, the guys asked him to tell some facts about bees in order to thus distract from the rumble that was heard from everywhere. Svyatoslav was so fascinated by these stories that after the victory he was going to also engage in beekeeping and extract a drone homogenate, which, judging by the conversations, has almost magical properties, increases endurance and does not harm health. Unfortunately, the plans were not destined to come true.
Svyatoslav Kirilin died on October 25, 2022 near the village of Davyvyd Brid (Kherson region) while performing a combat mission. The day before, they seized new positions, knocking out Russian paratroopers. Having occupied these boundaries, the next day they came under mortar fire. On the morning of October 25, one of the mines hit their trench. Two brothers died at once, and Svyatoslav was seriously wounded by the debris. Being wounded, he continued to adjust our artillery to the last. Subsequently, the order to retreat came, the brigade carried out the order, but Svyat did not reach the hospital, the injuries were incompatible with life... Buried on the Alley of Honored Burials of the Far Eastern Cemetery in the city of Kropyvnytskyi.
