
Rostyslav Nikitin is a fan of the football club “Dnipro”.
Rostislav Olegovich Nikitin was born on March 29, 1994 in the city of Dnipro (formerly. Dnipropetrovsk). He studied at school No. 62, and also graduated from Dnipro Lyceum with enhanced military-physical training. From adolescence, he was raised by his grandmother.
In 2011, Rostislav first came to the general training of the Dnieper fan movement, but he began to visit the stands even earlier. Supported the team at home and away matches.
After graduating from lyceum in 2012, he served in the 79th Separate Airmobile Brigade, in the military specialty he was a scout.
With the outbreak of the war in the East, he defended the integrity of the country as part of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade.
Rostislav Nikitin died on July 30, 2014 during an attempt to storm the city of Shakhtarsk (Donetsk region). On that day, Ukrainian paratroopers were fired from the “Gradiv”, simultaneously attacking from the ambush. He was buried in the Krasnopol cemetery of his native city.
On November 14, 2014, he was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree (posthumously). On September 1, 2016, a memorial plaque was opened on the facade of the school in which Rostilav studied. Also, a memorial plaque was opened on the building of the Dnieper Lyceum.
