
Roman “Cherepok” Osipenko is a fan of the football club “Dynamo” (Kyiv), a representative of the team “North Company”.
Roman Sergeevich Osipenko was born on April 26, 2000 in the city of Kiev. He studied at school number 118. As a child, he was very mobile, and in adolescence he began to engage in contact martial arts. Attended sections on MMA. muay thai and kickboxing. Most of the time he was raised by his grandmother.
Roman came to the Dynamo fan sector in high school. Subsequently, he received an invitation to the first composition of the young team “North Company”. Defended club colours in and out of the stadium.
Roman's life was not easy. After the death of his grandmother, he lived alone. Unfortunately, his father was in prison at that time, so the young man had to take care of his earnings on his own. He did not shy away from various jobs and earned by cage fighting in one of the capital's clubs. Loved tattoos and had beautiful hands.
According to the memories of friends, Roman was a very good person. He devoted all his free time to friends, sports and loved ones. Even in an extreme situation, he was collected and calm. His smile and calmness inspired optimism in others. He was always determined only for the best and did everything for this.
Being a motivated patriot of his country, in November 2020 “Cherepok” joined the ranks of the Marine Corps of Ukraine. Carried out military service as part of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade. After the first training, he received a promotion to senior shooter.
Since the spring of 2021, together with his beloved Irina, he lived in Nikolaev. In the fall of the same year, he made an offer, and in December he left for the position of “Vodyanoe”. The bride recalls that Roman always had a fart and was able to get out of difficult situations. He repeated that soon everything will end and he will return.
From February 28, 2022, Roman's unit was forced to retreat, because it was no longer possible to hold the defense. His voice was last heard on March 2.
Roman Osipenko fought on March 17, 2022, defending the city of Mariupol (Donetsk region). Following the order, he pulled out a wounded comrade and died from being hit by an enemy shell. He was buried in the park named after him. Petrovsky in the mass grave. Awarded the Order “For Courage” III degree (posthumously).
