Alexander “Porf” Parfenkov is a fan of the football club “Metalist” (Kharkiv).

Alexander Stefanovich Parfenkov was born on September 25, 1986 in the city of Kharkiv. He studied at school No. 50 of his native city. Despite the loss of his father at an early age, his mother managed to raise the young man as a true husband, protector and warrior. He was an active participant in the organization “Patriot of Ukraine”, participated in actions, marches and schools. Especially to my liking was the latter. He knew the Kharkiv region well, interesting historical places where the battles of the Second World War took place. He considered his best vacation to go to the forest and walk there with a metal detector, then light a fire, roast meat and tell stories that he knew how to interest the listeners.

In the middle of the zero “Porf” belonged to a cohort of patriotic youth who actively supported “Metalist” at home and away matches. He had many friends in many fan groups, in particular from the team “Kharkiv City Patriots”. Honor and dignity, devotion to his friends and country - were not empty words for him. The life around football motivated him to quit smoking and start playing sports. In 2007, before the match against English Everton, he met his future wife. I loved the military business very much. Served military service in the air defense unit. After the service, he dreamed of becoming a firefighter, but could not get a job, so for some time he worked as a security guard and in the repair team.

During the events of the Revolution of Dignity, Alexander was among those who dispersed the strongholds. He became a participant in the battle on the street. Rimarska on the night of March 15, 2014. He defended the House of Education and went to the detention center with other Kharkiv patriots. The data of the participants of the action quickly ended up in the hands of the separatists, so he was forced to leave for the Poltava region, and then to Kiev, where he joined the ranks of the Right Sector. Returning to Kharkov, after a while he went on a trip to Odessa, where he became a participant in the famous events on May 2, 2014. When separatists and firemen tried to attack the patriotic rally, he was one of those in the front row who confronted the pro-Russian crowd with batons and reinforcement. Later that day, he received a severe concussion from being hit with stones.

The war began in eastern Ukraine and Alexander went to the military enlistment office, but there was no specifics. Then he joined the special battalion “Slobozhanshchyna”, as part of which he stood at a checkpoint on the Kupyansk direction. Despite the fact that a friendly team had formed in the battalion, he felt that this was not what he needed. Therefore, in the fall, with a small group of brothers, they quit and went to the Armed Forces as volunteers, getting to the 131st Separate Reconnaissance Battalion. Being in positions near Mariupol, he had a large number of successful operations as part of the Turtles unit. Together with the Azovites, they took part in the Shyrokyn offensive operation in February 2015 - they covered when they entered Pavlopil and Pischevyk.

At the beginning of 2016, their unit was disbanded, so Porf went without hesitation to “Azov”, where by that time there was already a well-performing team. In addition to current tasks, he constantly studied and improved in military affairs. He loved to dig cars and even participated in Off-Road competitions. In 2018, seeing his newborn son in the hospital, he immediately returned to the regiment and spent 8 months on the front line near Gorlivka. At the end of 2020, he decided to move closer to his family in order to spend more time with his son. In the summer he returned to the Armed Forces as part of the 54th OmbR, held the post of platoon commander of the famous K-2 battalion. He had many awards, including state - orders of Bohdan Khmelnitsky, award weapons and many others.

I managed to visit home in June 2021. He went to study, and from there in the fall to the front line near Krasnogorovka, where he met a full-scale Russian invasion. Despite all the difficulties, he was in a cheerful mood, eagerly going on combat missions. Actively developed and planned operations, for which he received the rank of lieutenant. Alexander Parfenkov died on June 28, 2022. Going on a combat mission in the evening of the 27th, the next morning his family received a call, from which Alesya's wife learned the terrible news - he died during shelling from a gunshot wound. During his life, “Porf” loved to go to Kholodny Yar. He was inspired by the example of the outstanding figures of the struggle of those times - Zaliznyak, Chuchupaha, Black Crow. I wanted to tell my son the story of those countries. In the spring, relatives plan to take him there for the last time.
