Orest “Honor” Kvach is a fan of the football club “Dynamo” (Kyiv), a representative of the team “Young Hope”.

Orest Arsenovich Kvach was born on July 23, 1991 in the city of Zalishchyky (Ternopil region). He studied at a specialized school of the I-III centuries named after Osip Makovey with in-depth study of information technologies and technological disciplines, as well as gymnasium named after the Gnatyuki brothers. He graduated from the military lyceum named after him. Ivan Boguna, student of Kyiv National University named after him. Vadim Getman. He was engaged in contact martial arts in the Ternopil club “Characternik”.

Orest's parents are doctors, and his grandfather from an early age taught him to love nature. In the future, this gave impetus to interest in paganism. The guy grew up a rebel, once he disrupted the educational process with a smoke block. He communicated the situation so that he was thanked for organizing the evacuation training of students from the gymnasium. At the age of 15 he joined schools of military orientation. While studying in Kiev, he continued to engage in contact martial arts, won prize places in combat sambo and MMA tournaments.

Diligent and purposeful, he dreamed of joining the ranks of “Alpha” (SBU), but during Yanukovych's rule he did not join the special forces because of his nationalist views.

In his student years, Orest met Tatiana, who became for him a beloved person and a faithful friend. This woman is part of the Orest family and in her field of activity continues their common cause - the struggle for Ukraine.

In 2009, Orest joined the right-wing movement of the capital, actively fought against illegal developments in Kiev. He participated in the rescue of Lake Telbin in Bereznyaki, the protection of the Belichansk forest in Svyatoshyn, advocated for the preservation of the Museum of the History of Kyiv and the Guest Court. At the same time, he became the leader of the combat wing “C14” - “Medobory”, which consisted of Kiev nationalists and hooligans “Dynamo” and CSKA. In 2011, he made a bright appearance at the martial arts tournament “Go To You”, the participants of which were representatives of various fan movements.

The characteristic feature of Orestes was as follows: he was a magnet for ideological people. He never focused on the colors of the club, but on the contrary he united people according to ideological beliefs. He was good friends with the leader of the “Obolon Crew”, “acted” on the street with the “Terror Family”, fought in the forest for “Young Hope”, lived in the apartment of a representative of CSKA, rode left-handed for “Niva” Ternopil and hung out with the Lviv team “Pride”. The common denominator of all these contacts was direct action.

During the Revolution of Dignity, he was at the hottest points of the protests. When street fighting began, he and his brothers immediately joined the fight. There he received his first contusion and happily escaped the bullet that flew over his ear. During the battle on Institutskaya, he took command of the group. “I ran as a candidate for the Heavenly Hundred, but they didn't elect me,” he later joked.

With the beginning of the annexation of Crimea, Orest, together with other volunteers, began to prepare for participation in hostilities. In June, he joined the ranks of the battalion “Aydar”, where he was almost the youngest in the unit of experienced fighters. In one of the first successfully completed tasks, his group captured 18 people from the enemy group “Zarya”. During another night sortie, an enemy tank was neutralized.

Orest Kwach died on July 27, 2014 in fighting for the city of Lutugino (Luhansk region). Buried in his native Zalishchyky. Awarded the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree (posthumously). In 2015, a memorial plaque was opened on the building of the gymnasium in which the fallen Warrior studied. In the same year, a street named in his honor appeared in Konotop. Dynamo hooligans held a big martial arts tournament in honor of Orest. To this day, numerous graffiti monuments of Kwacha decorate the streets of the capital.

Back in 2009, he reasoned: “Will or death” — to follow these words you have to sacrifice a lot, and not stop, not give up. There are moments of weakness, this must be fought. Many in difficult situations stray from the main goal... And at the expense of the victims, I just do not sacrifice like that.”
