Alexander “Tara” Taraman is a fan of the football club “Kryvbas” (Kryvyi Rih), a representative of the team “Brotherhood”.
Alexander Vladimirovich Taraman was born on June 12, 1999 in the city of Mariupol. He studied at school No. 4, and after the 9th grade he entered the Mariupol Higher Professional Metallurgical School No. 99. From an early age he began to play football, in the junior grades of school he entered the local football academy, which was then called “Ilyichovets”. He was very active and capable of sports, one of the walls in his room was hung with diplomas and medals. Later he engaged in contact martial arts, in particular Thai boxing.
Passion for football and contact sports led Oleksandr to the fan movement, later he joined the team “Bratya” based in Kryvyi Rih. The team was part of the Kharkiv fan block KCP, so Oleksandr repeatedly had to demonstrate his fighting skills in fights with top rivals. Teammates remember him as a very characteristic guy, with a heavy blow, but, at the same time, an incredible sense of humor. His laughter lifted the spirits of everyone around.
According to the memories of his relatives, in civilian life Alexander loved to play computer games, adored animals, read, and was especially interested in history. He was a nationalist, very fond of his native Mariupol. I wanted to travel all over Ukraine, and especially to visit the Carpathians. Constantly striving to learn something new, was a very open and very stubborn person. He knew what he wanted out of life.
In February 2020, Alexander enters the Azov regiment of the NGU. To do this, it was necessary to make considerable efforts, and it was not possible the first time. Being persistent, he managed to lose about 30 kg and meet difficult standards. Having joined the ranks of the regiment, he took the call sign “Torba”.
In the summer of 2020, Alexander married his beloved Maria. The wife recalls that they began to meet as teenagers, and in the last year they planned a child before a full-scale war. Alexander really wanted a son.
The beginning of a full-scale war “Tara” met with her brothers in Mariupol. Bravely defended the surrounded city in battles with the overwhelming forces of the enemy. While the city was not yet so heavily shelled, Alexander's wife and father came to him several times, bringing food and necessary things, and the last time they saw each other was on March 9. On that day, he came and tried to calm his beloved, to distract. He said that the defenders of the city will surely stand. The main thing is that his family leaves and he is calm. Even in such a situation, he never fell out of spirit.
Alexander Taraman died on May 1, 2022. Awarded the Order “For Courage” III degree (posthumously).
