Alexander “Kryvyi” Shabrat is a fan of the football club “Kryvbas” (Kryvyi Rih), a representative of the collective “Jolly Gang”.
Alexander Nikolaevich Shabrat was born on September 10, 1998 in the city of Krivoy Rog. He studied at school No. 69, and later at Kryvyi Rih National University, where he received a degree in construction. From the first grade he was engaged in martial arts, was interested in military affairs. Since childhood, he was honest, responsible and uncompromisingly fair. I did not drink, did not smoke, never suffered betrayal or falsehood.
Since his youth he was an active fan of the football club “Kryvbas”. In 2013, he joined the fan group “Jolly Gang”. On the podium, Alexander was known as a man with a clear position, ready to stand up for himself to the end. Teammates remember him as a calm and balanced guy who also had a reliable shoulder. He rode outings, smoked pyro and was a devoted fan of the Kryvyi Rih club.
After receiving higher education, he went to work abroad — in Poland and the Czech Republic. There he worked in construction, planned to return and settle in Krivoy Rog. His heart has always remained with Ukraine.
When a full-scale war broke out on February 24, 2022, Alexander was in Poland with his brother. Relatives refused him to return - asked not to risk, to save himself. But he could not stay away.
On March 4, 2022, Alexander returned home to defend Ukraine.
According to the memoirs of his brother, Alexander was fair and strong, remained himself even in the most difficult moments. - “He could stay safe. But he couldn't. He had no fear — there was only an understanding: someone has to do it. He was one of the first to go. And he did it. Not for medals, not for loud words. Because it couldn't be otherwise.”
Since childhood, he dreamed of becoming a military man - and did everything to realize this dream in the most difficult time for the country. He aspired to get into the elite — the Special Operations Forces. Passing one of the most difficult elections in the Ukrainian army was worth a lot of effort, but Alexander told his loved ones: “I will gnaw the ground, but I will get there.” And got hit.
In the ranks of the SSU, he chose the callsign “Krivoy”, in honor of his hometown. Together with the unit, he was deployed to perform dangerous tasks, destroyed the enemy in the occupied part of Kharkiv region.
On May 21, 2023, Alexander Shabrat's life was interrupted by a shot from an enemy sniper in the area of N.P. Masyutivka (Kharkiv region). He is buried in the Central Cemetery of Kryvyi Rih in the sector of honorary burials.
Eternal glory to the Hero!
