Alexander “Tyur” Chernigov is a fan of the football club “Zirka” (Kropyvnytskyi), a representative of the team “Iron Star Firm”.

Alexander Yurievich Chernigov was born on February 19, 1997 in the city of Kropyvnytskyi (formerly. Kirovograd). He studied at school No. 30, after which he entered the Kryvyi Rih Lyceum with enhanced military-physical training. Alexander's parents are military personnel, and from a young age he was proud of his background, planning to study military service after the 9th grade of school. He was physically developed, adored physical education lessons and participated in sports circles.

Since childhood, he was fond of sports, cars and tried to find himself in the theater circle. He improved his body physically and tried to always be the first, to win.

Having been fond of football since childhood, at the age of 15 he joined the fan movement of the Kropyvnytsky “Zirka”. Familiar fans of “Sluch” and “Mahra” were invited to the I.S.F. team, which supported the team in the stands, as well as defended the club colors in fights with other fans.

After graduating from the military school, Alexander entered the military academy of the land forces of the city of Odessa, where he studied at the faculty of training specialists of logistics. During his studies at the 2nd year of the academy, he secretly from his parents submitted a report on participation in the ATO, where he gained combat experience and the status of a participant in hostilities.

He and his wife Anna were married in 2021, and in the fall of the same year they had a son, Yegor.

The brothers remember Alexander as a real Knight of Honor, who was kind to people and always came to the aid of those who needed it.

He met the beginning of a full-scale war in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as the commander of the logistics group support company, military unit A1840. He could not be aloof, wrote reports about sending to the combat zone and every time he was refused. Then Alexander achieved a transfer to the 73rd Naval Center of the Special Operations Forces. The 26-year-old captain-lieutenant participated in the fighting.

Alexander Chernigov died on April 24, 2023 while performing a combat mission in the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. At the cost of his life, he covered his brethren when attacking enemy positions. He was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnitsky III degree (posthumously).
