Nikolay “Biliy” Zabavchuk is a fan of the football club “Karpaty” (Lviv).
Nikolai Nikolaevich Zabavchuk was born on October 25, 1996 in the city of Lviv. He studied at the Lyceum No. 21 of his hometown, graduated from Lviv Polytechnic University. Active life position since school years led the young man to the fan movement “Carpathians”, which he supported at home and away matches. As a child, he began to play sports, when at the age of five he began to attend the gymnastics section. Later, aikido, boxing and kickboxing will come into his life. In kickboxing competitions represented the sports club “Triumph”. It is in this sport that Nikolai will become the champion of the Lviv region, a finalist of the championship of Ukraine and a candidate for masters of sports. He had high results and awards in barbell press competitions, which he did with coach Pavel Zinko.
After studying at Lviv Polytechnic, Mykola worked as an engineer of the “Shooting Stand of Lviv School of Higher Sports Skills”. He was interested in information technology, and therefore began to study the programming language JavaScrip. After the war, I wanted to work in IT. Veronica, the sister of “White” recalls that he cared a lot about other people and at the same time did not seek excessive attention, avoiding insincerity. He had real friends (including those from the sports community) who today care about the pain of their family and support their loved ones.
From the first days of the war, Mykola and his friends joined the ranks of the volunteer battalion, joining the Lviv 125th Territorial Defense Brigade. Soon he took a military oath and, together with his brothers, planned to defend Ukraine until victory. Already in the ranks of the Armed Forces, Nikolai made an offer to his bride Alexandra, with whom they began to plan a wedding and a joint future.
But on July 22, 2022, there was a report of enemy shelling of Kramatorsk (Donetsk region), as a result of which three Ukrainian Soldiers were killed. Mykola Zabavchuk gave his full hopes and plans for the future of life for the future of Ukraine. The dreams of a 25-year-old Lviv resident about a happy family and traveling around the world will remain unrealizable. Courageously accepting the challenges of fate in life and sport - he accepted this one, without retreating in the face of the enemy.
