Maxim “Ajax” Maksimenko is a fan of the football club “Dynamo” (Kiev), a representative of the White Boys Club movement.
Maxim Vadymovich Maksimenko was born on September 20, 1997 in the city of Radomyshl (Zhytomyr region). In 2003, he moved with his parents to Kiev. He studied at the metropolitan school No. 64 with an in-depth study of the Spanish language, after which he continued his studies at the Kiev Higher Professional School of Construction and Design, where he mastered the specialty of computer software information processing operator. From childhood, he grew up a person with a heightened sense of justice and freedom. He had many hobbies, but most of all he was passionate about football.
So it is not surprising that in 2014 he began to support the capital “Dynamo” in the fan sector. In the same year he attended his first away match. For some time I tried not to miss a single match of the Kiev people. According to the memories of loved ones, it was in the fan movement that Maxim met many loyal friends and later brothers, with whom he defended the Motherland side by side.
In civilian life, Maxim worked in logistics companies.
With the onset of a full-scale war, he joined the capital's TRO, and from April 2022 he joined the ranks of the Azov-Kyiv SSO, founded by Azov veterans. Subsequently, he joined the 3rd OShBR. Fearlessly carried out combat tasks in the Zaporizhzhya direction, storming enemy landings. At the front, he showed the best leadership qualities - he was able to keep a cool mind and make accurate calculations, his priority was the life of his comrades.
Returning to his first vacation from Zaporizhzhya, Maxim redefined the value of life. I managed to get married, but they never had time to enjoy their family life together.
Since the beginning of January 2023, “Ajax” stormed enemy positions in Donetsk region. While in the position of assistant grenade launcher, he served as the commander of the assault group. He boldly went forward and led his brothers with him. Task by task, assault by assault. His last assignment was with. Klishchivka (Bakhmut district). In those days, a section 3 km wide and 2.6 km deep was returned to the Ukrainian borders.
On May 8, 2023, the defense forces managed to repel the Russian occupation forces, destroying much of the 72nd Brigade and the elite assault detachment of the PVC “Wagner”. Unfortunately, at the cost of loss. Maxim Maksimenko died as a result of receiving multiple shrapnel wounds incompatible with life.
He was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree (posthumously), the honorary insignia “Combatant Cross” (posthumously).
Eternal glory to the Hero!
