Konstantin “Wind” Kursua is a fan of the football club “Nafkom” (Brovary), a representative of the team “First Brovary Firm”.

Konstantin Konstantinovich Kursua was born on April 10, 1983 in the city of Kiev. Father is Georgian, Mother is Ukrainian. Relatives from the city of Gali, Abkhazia, who moved to Tbilisi because of the occupation. He studied at the school No. 83 of the city of Kiev, and after graduating from it he entered the National Aviation University. In childhood, which took place in the metropolitan area of Borschagovka, he was fond of football. He also played mini football and diving. The family moved to Brovary in 1999.

In 2005, the FBF team was formed in Brovary, and Konstantin joined its first composition. In the late nineties and early 10s, Brovary fans gained a reputation as hopefuls who never avoided a fight, often being at a disadvantage. Teammates recall that in those years Kostya was a participant in all the remarkable events in the life of the team. He held many contractual meetings with opponents in the forests and in the picturesque fields of our Motherland. He supported the team at home and on the road, covering thousands of kilometers for this.

There were many outings by a small number of people. One of the bright trips was to the city of Illichivsk, near Odessa. A total of 7 men FBF went up against 21 Duke's Band. Ternopil, Chernivtsi and many other excursions. There was a trip for the national team to the city of Dnipro, where Ukraine played against the national team of England. Konstantin with his brother and another representative of the movement broke through this tour for only 40 UAH for three. There by hitchhiking, back by train in the vestibule and third shelves. Friends recall that then I had to wave a little with the English. He also had a lot of trips for the capital club “Obolon”, for which fans went with friends.

In civilian life, Konstantin was a good, kind and responsive person. Always came to the aid of family and friends.

He planned to raise the flag of Ukraine in the Ukrainian Crimea in Tarkhankut.

In 2014-2016, “Viter” was a participant of the ATO, a grenade launcher of the assault company of the 24th separate assault battalion “Aidar”, fought in the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, came out of Debaltseve.

After a full-scale invasion, he again voluntarily went to defend Ukraine. Since March 10, 2022, as part of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vygovskyi, he participated in hostilities, defending Ukraine. First it was the defense of the Chernihiv region, then the departure to the Kherson direction, Zaporizhzhia, and later to the Chid. He took part in the battles for Popasna, Lisichansk Refinery, Zaitseve, Belogorovka, Bakhmut. He has the honors of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the battalion “Aydar”, the All-Ukrainian Public Union “Border” of veterans of the war in Afghanistan and ATO soldiers and others.

Konstantin Kursua died on November 21, 2022 in the Zaporizhzhya area near the village of Orikhiv. He is buried in the Alley of Glory of the Brovary City Cemetery.
