Konstantin “Kos” Shapovalov is a fan of the football club “Metalurg” (Zaporizhia).

Konstantin Anatolyevich Shapovalov was born on October 6, 1981 in the city of Zaporizhia. He studied at lyceum No. 99, and finished the last classes at school No. 16. After school, he graduated with honors from Technical University No. 1, where he received the specialty of gas-electric welder, then entered the 3rd year at the Zaporizhzhya Trade College, which he also graduated with honors. He was the soul and darling of this college. Participated in all cultural and mass events. He was also the captain of the KVK team, sang very well.

Konstantin's childhood was closely related to sports: first karate, then aikido, as a teenager he became interested in boxing and MMA. He was involved in football for a while. Around the age of 16-17, he became acquainted with professional football and what was around him.

He came to the fan sector “Metalurga” at the age of 17. According to the memories of teammates, “Kos” was one of the main representatives of the Metalurg hooligans cohort during the heyday of football in the country, participated in all known and large-scale fights of that time.

One of the teammates recalls: - “No step back, only victory” - this is the same case when the words coincided with the deed. In the dozens of fights I have participated in with Konstantin, his gaze has never been broken. Every time I fought like the last time.”

Friends from the fan sector recall that Konstantin could always be relied on everywhere: on the swing, at work, in ordinary life - he always insures, helps. He had a heightened sense of justice, was an ardent strong-willed man, and a true Warrior. He appreciated his friends and, of course, loved his family with all his heart!

- “Patriot, Cossack, First among equals”, - this is how Metalurg fans will remember him.

In 2010, Konstantin married Elena. In the summer of the same year, their eldest daughter Milana was born, and four years later, the younger Bohdana. Together with their young daughters, they raised two more daughters of Elena from her first marriage - Olga and Alexander. The girls treated Constantine like a father and were very proud of him. He taught and showed them what Man and Father should be. First of all, he was the closest friend to his girls.

In civilian life, Konstantin worked as a senior seller of household appliances in a large network “ABV-Technik”, was the director of “My Technique”. Also for a long time he was the manager of the Yabloki network.

I really liked to travel, discover something new. I was fascinated by history. He devoted all his free time to his family, which was in the first place.

The main hobby in his life, which in the last pre-war years even dominated football, was fishing. Konstantin led a blog and YouTube channel “LUCKY FISHING UA”, which he created to promote fishing. In his reviews, the author talked about the features of different types of fishing in different locations.

With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, “Kos” entered the TRO “Shield”, defended his hometown. Then he became a fighter of the 24th OMBR named after King Daniel. He was a military instructor at the training center. Later transferred to the 3rd OSHBR, he fought as commander of the combat vehicle of the 3rd Assault Detachment, 2nd Assault Platoon, 4th Assault Company, 2nd Battalion. He took part in the battles for Bakhmut, Toretsk, Andriyivka and Avdiyivka. He was awarded the honorary breastplate “Cross of the Brave”.

Konstantin Shapovalov took his last fight on February 10, 2024 near N.P. Avdiyivka (Donetsk region). He was buried in the cemetery of St. Nicholas in Zaporizhia.
