Kirill “Bayan” Bayev is a fan of the football club “Metalist” (Kharkiv), a representative of the team “Young Patriots”.
Kirill Andreevich Bayev was born on June 14, 2001 in the city of Kharkiv. He studied at school No. 119 of his native city, after which he entered the faculty of physical education and sports of the Kharkiv Pedagogical University named after him. H.S. Frying pans. From an early age, his main hobby was sports. At first, his mother brought Cyril to the football section, but the boy from childhood was more attracted to power struggles, stiffened the hull where there was not enough speed and without fear went into force collisions.
After that, it was decided to try their hand at martial arts. Having started practicing judo at the age of 10 in the club “Slobozhanets”, he devoted the next 4 years to this sport. Having mastered the necessary fighting technique, he began to develop in other areas, in particular MMA mixed martial arts.
During his performances at competitions, Kirill repeatedly won the first places in the tournaments of the Kharkiv region. He was the champion of Ukraine in the Cossack duel. Victory in the country's championship in this sport allowed the talented young man to make his way to international competitions. There he went on to win, achieving World Cup runner-up titles and eventually winning the World Cup. In addition, he was engaged in horting and won the championship of Ukraine.
Passion for martial arts and success in sports could not but bring Cyril to the fan stand of “Metalist”. The developed young man with considerable experience of sports performances was immediately noticed by the football teams around him. Initially, he held several arranged meetings against fans of other teams as part of the Kharkiv AFC team, after which he was not part of any of the teams for a long time, just visiting the sector. With the outbreak of a full-scale war, Bayan got into the circle of brothers from the Young Patriots team, where representatives of the younger generation of fans of the famous KCP gathered. Subsequently, Kirill became a representative of this particular team.
In civilian life, Cyril had many hobbies and true friends, with whom he experienced many adventures. Until a certain time, parents knew about their son's interest in football, but he diligently protected them from the details of fan life.
In 2023, he was supposed to defend his bachelor's degree, but after the outbreak of a full-scale war, he postponed his studies and joined the ranks of the unit, which would later become known as the GUR unit of the MO “Kraken”. Kirill Bayev died on January 14, 2023 while performing a combat mission near the city of Soledar (Bakhmut district).
In February 2023, performer Tony Brasko dedicated a song called “How Much” to the fallen Kharkiv resident. On August 29, 2023, a memorial plaque was opened on the building of the school in which Kirill studied.
