Ivan “Kazhan” Lilyk is a fan of the football club CSKA (Kyiv), representative of the team “Army Legion”.

Ivan Valerievich Lylik was born on December 3, 1990 in the city of Irpin (Kiev region). He studied at school No. 17, after which he graduated from the Kiev Construction Technical School with a degree in Landscape Design. From an early age, he was fond of football and combat contact martial arts.

In the late 2000s, Ivan got into the CSKA sector. Attended home matches together with a group of fans of the capital club from Irpen and Bucha. He took part in famous football events of that time: the derby with Dynamo, trips to Sevastopol, Lviv, Nikolaev, Cherkassy and others.

In civilian life, Ivan worked as a locksmith riveting lithium devices at the Antonov plant.

Since 2023, he has worked in “Municipal Guard” of the Gostomel district in the position of inspector.

Another great hobby, besides football, was motorcycles: he was a member of a moto club Route88. Family and friends remember Ivan as a man of extraordinary optimism, always smiling with an inexhaustible sense of humor.

IN In 2015, he met his future wife Catherine, and in the spring of 2017 they had a daughter, Lana. A few years later, the couple divorced. Later he met Anastasia, and together they planned about many years of living together, family and a new motorcycle for traveling.

Since the beginning of a full-scale war, Ivan was engaged in volunteer activities: helping people in his native region, as well as in the East, during trips to the hottest points of the front. In parallel, he prepared for service in the defense forces, and in the fall of 2024 he joined the ranks of the DPSU, becoming a fighter of the 105th border detachment named after him. Vladimir the Great. He was assigned to the 1st Brigade of Operational Assignment “Bureva”. He chose the callsign “Bat”, because of the consonance of the surname with the common name of the bat family (the family of shrews).

Ivan Lylyk died on December 27, 2024 near the village. Glushkivka (Kupyansk district, Kharkiv region). At the cost of his own life, he saved his brother. He was buried on the Alley of the Defenders of Ukraine Irpin Cemetery. Awarded the award of the President of Ukraine “For the Defense of Ukraine” (posthumously) and the Medal “Defender of Ukraine” (posthumously).
