
Yevgeny “Lutsyk” Lutsenko is a fan of the football club “Niva” (Vinnytsia).
Evgeny Ivanovich Lutsenko was born on August 22, 2001 in the city of Vinnytsia. He studied at school No. 32, and after the 9th grade he continued his studies at the Center for Vocational Education No. 1 of his native city, where he obtained the specialty of an auto mechanic. He was keen on sports, despite the fact that at the age of 6, doctors diagnosed him as “asthma”. From childhood, he began to attend the boxing section, went to training with an inhaler, and later became interested in mixed martial arts.
Since the age of six, Yevgeny attended football matches with his grandfather every Saturday at the local Lokomotiv stadium. He began to cheer for Vinnytsia “Niva” from the age of 11. In a few years, he began to support the team in the fan sector. Older friends from the fan movement watched over their teammate and saw him as a promising representative of the younger generation.
From his youth he was a devoted nationalist, was a member of the Vinnytsia branch of the public organization “Centuria”, which is engaged in patriotic education of youth in the region. In parallel with this, Eugene had success in sports, trained a lot and performed in mixed martial arts competitions.
Having lost his father in 2015, he soon became a complete orphan. He took care of two sisters and supported them in every possible way while they were at war.
“Lutsyk” was a fighter of the 137th Separate Marine Battalion. He was one of those who liberated Kherson in the fall of 2022, after which he repelled an enemy invasion in the East. Yevgeny Lutsenko fought in battle near Vuhledar on February 7, 2023. Trying to remove a wounded comrade from the battlefield, he died from the wound received.
