Yevhen “Lys” Zalyvatsky is a fan of the football club “Metalist” (Kharkiv), representative of the team “Simmer Polecats Crew”.

Evgeny Alekseevich Zalyvatsky - was born on December 31, 1994 in the city of Lisichansk (Luhansk region). From an early age, being very active and cheerful, he was engaged in boxing and always developed physically. He graduated from the Lysychansk Multidisciplinary Gymnasium, after which he entered the service of the State Border Service of Ukraine. He had many friends, played the guitar skillfully and was the soul of any company. At the fan stand of his native club, he joined the team of SPC. Courageous and honest, Eugene boldly looked into the eyes of any challenges of fate and dangers.

With the beginning of the Russian invasion in the east in 2014, “Fox” defended our Motherland in ATO. He received the military rank of senior sergeant. Along with the military, he did not forget about training. In 2018, he graduated from the National Law University of Ukraine named after him. Yaroslav the Wise and received a bachelor's degree in law. In the same year, he entered the service of the National Police of Ukraine, held the position of the Operational Commissioner of the Popasnyansk police department of the GUNP in the Luhansk region and received the special rank of police lieutenant.

Defending the borders of our state at the beginning of the Russian aggression, the brave and just Warrior could not stand aside now. On February 24, taking up arms, he went to defend the free future of the country. “Let me die, but I will not let the enemy pass to our land, and someday songs and legends will be composed about me and those like me,” said the Fox. And these words of the faithful son of Ukraine must come true. Yevgeny Zalyvatsky died on March 2, 2022 as a result of a rocket attack on the building of the GUNP in Kharkiv.

Eugene's relatives and friends recall that he was a fantastic person who always knew how to enjoy life. Everywhere he said and believed that we would surely overcome everyone. The memory of a brave guy with a fly over his lip, etched forever in the hearts of those he met on his life's journey. Every time they hear or say “Glory to Heroes,” kindred hearts know it's about their best son, friend, and sibling.
