
Yegor “Ryaba” Ryabenko is a fan of the football club “Metalurg” (Zaporizhia), representative of the team “Baburka Front”.
Yegor Alexandrovich Ryabenko was born on December 17, 1996 in the city of Zaporizhia. In 2012, he graduated from the school No. 108 of the city of Zaporizhia, after which he entered the Zaporizhzhya Right-bank Vocational Lyceum for the specialty “car diagnostics”. His main hobby from an early age was sports, as a teenager he began to practice Thai boxing, in which he achieved considerable success. Pupil of the out-of-school educational institution “City Palace of Children and Youth Creativity” and sports club “Pride”.
In the fan sector “Metalurga” since the season 2011/12. That time in the Zaporizhzhya movement is remembered as the peak of activity of the young generation. Yegor immediately showed himself well in the fight with the “check” of Kryvyi Rih, as well as in several meetings with the youth of Dnipro. The most memorable achievement in fights with neighbors was the victory of “Baburka Front” in more than 6 minutes. On that day, several of his friends fought alongside Ryaba, who also died at the front, and there are those who are currently in captivity.
Another landmark event with the participation of Egor was the fight against Sevastopol, which was the first experience of the team with an opponent of this level. Teammates recall that he devoted a lot of time to sports, and fan fights were an important hobby. Immediately before the clash with opponents, Egor always smiled, showing his cap to the guys opposite.
He repeatedly became the winner of the championships of the Zaporizhzhya region in Thai muay thai boxing. In 2020 he won the silver medal of the championship of Ukraine. In addition, since 2019, he has been an acting judge of Zaporizhzhya region. on Thai boxing.
Before the full-scale war, he lived abroad, but returned two weeks after it began. First Yegor joined the local TRO, and later successfully passed the training and joined the ranks of the Azov regiment. In 2022, he took part in the battles in the Ugledar direction. In 2023, he completed sergeant courses and received the rank of junior sergeant. Awarded the honorary badge “Golden Cross”.
According to the memories of relatives and brothers in arms: “Ryaba” had good leadership qualities, which he was able to fully demonstrate in military affairs. During the service, he was responsible, confident in his actions, courageous, ready to always come to the rescue. During the battles near Kreminna, he showed himself as a true warrior: he always went forward, was not afraid to take responsibility for himself and for his brothers.
Yehor Ryabenko died on September 16, 2023 while performing a combat mission in the area of Kreminna (Luhansk region). While in position, a group of four fighters came under fire, which took the lives of two more brothers. He was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree (posthumously).
