Georgy “Kit” Lipsky is a fan of the football club “Chernomorets” (Odessa).
Georgy Yurievich Lipsky was born on April 3, 1995 in Odessa. From a young age he had an active pro-Ukrainian position. Participated in patriotic events. He actively supported the “Black Sea”, and was also a co-founder in the public organization “Law of Nature”, which he founded together with like-minded people. He became famous in Odessa precisely because of his volunteer and civic activities. In 2020, he ran for the Odessa City Council as a representative of the party “National Corps” in the district No. 1 in the Kiev district of the city.
With the onset of a full-scale Russian invasion, George took up arms and stood in defense of his country. In one of the conversations with journalists of the local newspaper, he admitted that he was well aware of the possibility of an enemy attack, and therefore was preparing for war. Together with his brethren, Keith conducted training near the 411 Battery Memorial, had his military equipment and his own weapons.
After training at the training ground, George and his comrades were sent to the Kherson direction. Together with many other fans of clubs of the Ukrainian South, he defended his native land as part of 126 territorial defense brigade. He was a fighter of the 2nd company of the 1st platoon of the Chimera unit. Unable to fully volunteer and help animals, the man with a big heart continued to rescue the four-legged at the front, caring for those injured in the area of the fighting. In the first days of summer, “Kit” himself was wounded during a battle with an enemy group in one of the settlements of Kherson region.
In the future, the courageous Odessa resident planned to develop an ecological project to restore the nature of Ukraine and resume his animal protection activities, but clearly realized that first it is necessary to expel the invaders from our land. “The occupier has come to our land and in order to save all the animals in the country, we must have this country,” he said. Georgy Lipsky fought on August 29, 2022, during an attack on enemy positions. He was buried in the village of Buzkovyi Hai in Odesa region.
