Ervin “Romel” Zasansky is a fan of the football club “Veres” (Rivne), a representative of the team “Rivne Red-Black”.
Ervin Viktorovich Zasansky was born on November 17, 1995 in the city of Rivne. He studied at the city school No. 12, and later - No. 11. Since childhood, I was interested in the history of Ukraine, read a lot. He was engaged in volleyball and boxing sections.
His love for the history of his native land, football and travel led Ervin to the Rivne fan movement. He was part of the ultra-team “Rivne Red-Black”, together with which he supported the football “Veres” and the local basketball team.
After graduating from school, Erwin immediately began working. He was a plumber, carpenter, grinder, had golden hands and had broad profile skills. Family and friends recall Erwin as a sensitive and fair person.
With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, Romel could not stay away. He repeatedly tried to join the ranks of the Armed Forces, but the military enlistment office each time said that it was not time. On January 4, 2023, he began to acquire military skills at the training center of the Armed Forces, after which he went to the front line. Not much was said about the events at the front.
Ervin Zasansky died on September 26, 2023 while performing a combat mission in the village of Oleksandrivka (Donetsk region). He was buried in the cemetery “New” in his hometown.
On October 22, 2023, Veres players went to the UPL match against “Rukh” wearing T-shirts with a portrait of a fallen fan. The first symbolic kick on the ball in this match was performed by Igor Lataychuk, a teammate and childhood friend of Ervin. On April 25, 2024, a memorial plaque was opened on the building of lyceum No. 11, where Ervin once studied.
