
Dmitry “Sarancha” Nyzhnyk is a fan of the football club “Dynamo” (Kyiv), a representative of the team “Happy Tree Friends”.
Dmitry Romanovich Nizhnik was born on July 19, 1989 in the city of Kiev. He studied at the capital's school №122 named after him. M. Borovichenko, after which he entered the State University of Trade and Economics at the Faculty of Hotel and Restaurant Business. Close ones recall that Dmitry's childhood and youth were not easy, and he spent a lot of time with friends. He was engaged in kickboxing.
From the age of 14, he began to visit the Dynamo fan sector. In addition to actively supporting the team at home and away matches, Dmytro and his friends managed to attend many different subcultural events. Concerts, festivals and much more took place in those years in Kiev. He was ready to defend the colors of the club outside the stadium, and in 2007 he joined the HTF team.
At the same time, Dmitry was a creative person, wrote articles on the topic of the capital's subcultural youth. He has written three books, but he has not published any of them. Sometime later, he became actively interested in music and became known in the circles of connoisseurs of the underground style as a rap artist under the nickname DS. He built his texts and rhymes around concepts such as friendship, honor and devotion, which he himself valued from a young age. Simple and at the same time strong words, found a response in the hearts of the same simple guys.
After studying at the university, he quickly developed his professional skills. Having started working as an assistant in one of the capital's companies in 2011, in a year he took a management position. He realized the talent of a chef, worked in several metropolitan institutions. In 2016, he married his beloved Zhanna, in the same year his son Leo was born in the family.
In the first days of the full-scale invasion, Sarancha joined the ranks of the district TRO, and later joined one of the units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces, where he was an assistant grenadier. Dmitry Nyzhnyk died on April 30, 2022 while performing a combat mission near the village of Olhivske (Zaporizhzhya region).
