Denis “Dron” Dronik is a fan of the football club “Kryvbas” (Kryvyi Rih), a representative of the team “The Company”.
Denis Olegovich Dronik was born on April 19, 1998 in the city of Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) in the family of a soldier. He studied at schools No. 8, 41 and 11, after which he entered the Kryvyi Rih Vocational Transport and Metallurgical Lyceum, but did not work for a single day. During school, Denis was fond of creativity, participated in theatrical performances, was a host of historical events. He was also physically developed. He could often be met in the gym, even during other lessons.
Denis began to visit the Kryvbas fan stand in 2013. Teammates recall his first fight against the fans of the capital “Dynamo”. Then it was a check on the younger generation of the team “The Company”, to which Denis sought to get.
From childhood, the military father by his example instilled in his son interest and respect for the military cause. After the beginning of the war in Eastern Ukraine, 18-year-old Denis began preparing to join the ranks of the Armed Forces. He served in the 25th Separate Assault Brigade for three years. At the end of the service, he returned home.
He had a great desire to create his own family. He dreamed of a big home where all the family and friends he loved, respected and never left in trouble could gather. In civilian life, Denis looked for himself in various jobs, every summer he worked as a rescuer in Odessa. According to the memories of relatives and friends, he built his life himself and persistently went towards his goal, but on February 24, 2022, this path changed radically.
The beginning of a full-scale invasion “Drone” met with friends in his hometown. From the first days of the Great War he joined the ranks of the local branch of the organization “Centuria”. All together they joined the 98th battalion of the Azov-Dnipro TRO. In November 2022, it was included in the newly created 3rd OShBR.
According to the memories of the brothers, “Dron” always broke first into battle, and was almost the only one from his circle who wanted to go to Bakhmut. I wanted to be able to defeat a strong enemy as soon as possible. In the winter of 2022-23, the defense of Bakhmut continued. On January 14, 2023, Denis Dronik, together with two brothers from Kryvyi Rih, performed a combat mission near Klishchivka. The last time the commander heard Denis's voice on the radio, when he reported the death of one of the brothers. All three Kryvyi Rih fans are considered missing.
