Daniil “Osa” Lukashchuk is a fan of the football club “Karpaty” (Lviv), representative of the team “Green Legion”.

Daniil Andreevich Lukashchuk was born on October 8, 1997 in Lviv. He studied at Lviv Physical and Mathematical Lyceum at Lviv National University named after him. Ivan Franko. Subsequently, he entered the mechanical and mathematical faculty of LNU named after him. Ivan Franko. He also graduated from Lviv Art School named after him. Oleksiy Novakivsky.

From a young age he rode a bicycle, and over the years this hobby grew into a love of cars. He especially liked to repair them with his own hands. He even had a separate garage for this. Relatives recall how Daniel first got behind the wheel and it was “Zhigul”. He said then that it was very nervous, because the car was not going well and he just miraculously did not crash.

In 2014, Daniel joined the fan team “Green Legion” and since then began to actively support the Lviv “Carpathians” at home and away matches. According to the memories of his teammates, fan life was not just a hobby for him - it was part of his identity. He was only 16, but even then he had a firm conviction: supporting the club is a matter of honor, brotherhood and love for the city.

- “Small” has always been energetic, sincere and reliable. He didn't just stand in the sector — he lived it.

He participated in numerous trips both throughout the country for the “Carpathians” and abroad supported the National Team. He was always among those who organized, helped, did not stand aside.

He took an active part in creating performances, joined meetings in support of fans in trouble, was never afraid of responsibility. Always cheerful, prudent, but sincerely devoted. On the podium — as in life: genuine, honest, true to his own,” say friends from the sector.

After graduating, Daniel worked as a system administrator in a number of Lviv enterprises. In particular, at Arena Lviv, at Fest-i, and at the time of the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he worked in DataArt Lviv.

Colleagues remember Daniel as an incredibly kind person with a great sense of humor.

From the first days of a full-scale invasion, Daniel voluntarily took up arms. As part of the 420th Rifle Battalion, he performed assignments near Liman and Bakhmut as an UAV operator. Subsequently, he fought with the occupiers in the ranks of the 14th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Aircraft Complexes of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces.

During the service, he was awarded the Honorary Badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces “Golden Cross”.

Daniil Lukashchuk died on May 11, 2024 while performing a combat mission in Pokrovsky district (Donetsk region).
