Danylo “Ryzhyi” Nastych is a fan of the football club “Kryvbas” (Kryvyi Rih), a representative of the team “The Company”.
Danylo Olegovich Nastych was born on January 12, 2003 in the city of Kryvyi Rih. He studied at the city gymnasium No. 89 “Potential”, where he received an incomplete secondary education, after which he graduated from the Kryvyi Rih Vocational Transport and Metallurgical Lyceum with the specialty “Assistant of a diesel locomotive driver and a locksmith for repair of rolling stock”.
According to the memories of his relatives, in childhood Daniel most liked to go with his parents to the shooting range. But for appointments to doctors - I did not like, especially to the dentist. At the same time, he had an agreement with his parents that, being obedient during the visit to the doctor, he would go to the shooting range.
From an early age, Daniel raised himself in the spirit of patriotism, especially admiring the history of Ukraine. After the events of the Revolution of Dignity, he became interested in the right-wing movement, and in 2015 he joined a small public organization related to Cossack themes.
In his free time from study and work, he actively supported the football club “Kryvbas”. At first, he went to matches with his father, several times attended games outside the city, from which he returned full of emotions. In 2022, when he was 19, he joined the team “The Company”, in which many of his acquaintances were involved. As part of the team, he also found like-minded friends.
He became a fan because of his interest in football, love of his hometown and patriotic views. Teammates recall that due to active volunteer activity after February 24, 2022 in frontline cities and further activity in Centuria, Danylo did not have much time to attend away matches of Kryvbas.
In July 2021, Danylo continued to study in absentia at the Polytechnic Professional College of Kryvyi Rih National University, which he graduated in 2023 with a degree in Locomotive Management. In parallel with his studies, he worked at the company “Arcelormital” as an assistant driver.
In the first days of a full-scale war, Daniel tried to join one of the Kryvyi Rih units of the TRO, but he was refused. Since then, he began to volunteer as part of the charitable foundation “Krasnaya Kalina UA”. He traveled to the frontline cities of Kherson region, Donetsk region, Kharkiv region and Zaporizhzhia.
In the spring of 2023, “Ryzhyi” joined the ranks of the organization “Centuria”. The team remembers him as a very capable and sociable participant in the movement, which quickly made Daniel an integral part of the team.
In the summer of 2023, he successfully graduated from the school of tens of the organization “Centuria”, solemnly receiving the title of a fighter. The organization highly appreciated the inordinate contribution of Daniel to the development, appointing him the head of the Kryvyi Rih cell.
In the summer of the same year, he, together with a close circle of communication, founded the closed Kryvyi Rih community branch of the organization “Centuria” - “REDHEAD COMPANY”.
In May 2024, “Ryzhyi” decided to become a fighter of the 3rd OSHBR, joined the ranks of the reconnaissance platoon of the 1st Mechanized Battalion.
Danylo Nastych died on September 23, 2024 in a battle with the enemy in the area of N.P. Novovodyanoe (Luhanska obl). He is buried in the Central Cemetery of Kryvyi Rih.
