Daniel “Himalai” Guerliani is a fan of the football club “Dynamo” (Kyiv), representative of the team “Ahnenerbe”.

Daniel Gelayevich Guerliani - was born on June 20, 1998 in the city of Kiev. Since 2005 he studied at school No. 218, and after the 7th grade he transferred to the Economic and Legal Lyceum with an in-depth study of jurisprudence. Professional education was given easily to the young man, and his favorite subjects were history, law and literature. After lyceum, he entered the Kharkiv National Law University named after him. Yaroslav Mudroho at the Faculty of Public Prosecution, who graduated in 2022 with a master's degree.

From the elementary grades of school, Daniel was involved in sports, in particular Greco-Roman wrestling. He performed at competitions in Kyiv and all-Ukrainian tournaments. Later he trained already in the university section and played for him at competitions in the city of Kharkiv. He was fond of hiking, as well as reading fiction. He came to the Dynamo fan sector in 2013. Having come to the podium for the first time at the invitation of a school friend, he soon began to constantly visit the sector and called friends with him.

Actively supported the team at home and away matches, and later became one of the founders of the Ahnenerbe team. He took an active part in the life and development process of his fan group, in which he was responsible for solving many organizational issues. He became the leader of the team after the other guys unanimously spoke in favor of his candidacy. Friends recall that due to his tenacity and other character traits, Himalaya was best suited for the role. Whatever the situation, I always knew the way out of it.

On everyone who knew Daniel, he made an indelible impression with his smile. Friends never missed him on trips, and therefore tried not to miss a single trip. He himself tried to attend as many such matches as possible, including international meetings of Dynamo in European cups. But along with this ease of communication, Himalai was a very prudent and determined person. Even before the start of the Great War, he declared his readiness to defend the country with weapons in his hands, and kept his word.

He met a full-scale Russian invasion in Kharkiv, where a few days earlier he had just defended his Master's thesis. From the very morning of February 24, he decided to return to his friends in the capital. Arriving in Kiev, he joined the local battalion of the TRO, in which his colleagues from the team were already waiting for him. He was a member of the defense of Kiev and one of those who found the body of his friend and teammate Denis “Stalker” Rachinsky, after a Russian missile hit the Retroville shopping mall. After this tragedy, he decided to join the SSO “Azov” Kyiv (now the 3rd OshBR), in whose ranks he showed himself as a worthy and brave Warrior.

Daniel Guerliani died on June 3, 2022 as a result of enemy artillery shelling in Zaporizhzhya region. His family and friends will remember him as an optimist who saw something good in everything. The smile of “Himalaya” will now remain with them on the video, in his recordings, and philosophical reflections and words - in the chats of the team. His toasts and phrases will be heard at their birthdays, gatherings and just meetings until he meets them again in the best of worlds. On December 12, 2022, he was awarded the Order “For Courage” III degree (posthumously).
