Artur "Pykha" Pyshnoi was a fan of the Metalurh Zaporizhzhia football club.

Artur Yuriiovych Pyshnoi was born on October 25, 1985, in Zaporizhzhia. He attended School No. 9. After graduation, as the eldest brother in the family, he immediately began working and developing his own furniture workshop. During his school years, he mastered the violin at a music school. As a young man, he dedicated much of his time to breakdancing, frequently participating in city competitions. He also created graffiti. He was always physically active, practicing martial arts—jiu-jitsu and aikido—for over four years.

In 2005, he joined the Metalurh fan section. Football was an integral part of Artur's life, both inside and outside the stadium. According to his fellow fans, he proudly defended the glorious name of his home team and city.

His most vivid memory and first experience of an off-stadium confrontation, in his own words, was one of the largest brawls in Zaporizhzhia at the time between Metalurh and Shakhtar fans. The sides clashed in Dubovyi Hai Park, with over two hundred people involved. It was there that Artur felt the adrenaline of the football subculture and the brotherhood of the battlefield. He proved himself to be a brave fighter and a resilient defender of his club's colors.

In his youth, he became passionate about modern electronic music and even produced a number of original tracks. He was one of the founders of the creative group "Kapela," organizing musical events and concerts.

In 2012, his love for creativity and art led Artur to serve at the Vie Theatre on Khortytsia in Zaporizhzhia, where he worked with pleasure alongside the city's finest artists. He participated in plays, concerts, and art events, and was a co-creator of the physical theatre performance "From Silence." Later, he moved to Kyiv, where he also became involved with the capital's theatres as a specialist in lighting and musical accompaniment for performances.

He met his future wife, Yaryna, back in 2006. They married in 2014, and two years later, their first son, Mark, was born. During the full-scale war, in the spring of 2022, their younger son, Lev, was born. Loved ones remember Artur as a very kind man who loved his family boundlessly.

He loved music and theatre deeply. He wanted to dedicate more time to art and create music at a more professional level.

In 2023, "Pykha" took up arms in the ranks of the Azov Brigade, right in the heat of the fighting in the Serebryansky forest. Starting his military journey in the infantry, he experienced the war from the inside, but realizing he could do more, he began self-studying the then-new field of ground-based robotic systems. While in a mortar platoon, he was one of the first in Azov to develop and implement this knowledge in practice, specifically on the New York front, where he was eventually appointed commander of the UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) platoon. He carried out some of the most difficult tasks on the front line, such as logistics and the evacuation of the wounded.

Artur Pyshnoi died on November 5, 2025, while performing a combat mission near Kostiantynivka (Donetsk region). His life was cut short by the explosion of a 1.5-ton aerial bomb. His family and friends are still waiting for the opportunity to say goodbye to the fallen defender.

Eternal honor to the Hero!
