Artemy “White” Gorbenko is a fan of the football club “Dnipro”, a representative of the team “MyD”.
Artemy Viktorovich Gorbenko was born on August 26, 1991 in the city of Dnipro (then. Dnipropetrovsk). He studied at school No. 3, after which he entered the Pridnepr Energy Engineering Technical School. From the age of 17 he was an orphan, so his grandmother was engaged in the upbringing of the boy. Since his youth, he was fond of and engaged in martial arts, in particular boxing and free wrestling.
Support “Dnipro” in the fan sector began in 2010. Artemy dreamed of Euro trips. Teammates recall that he wanted to conquer the whole world and was the leader followed by young people. In the movement, he was engaged both in the development of the team “Darzost and Youth”, and with younger representatives of the Dnieper movement.
In the memory of friends from the sector will forever remain memories of how Artemy ran to the field in Odessa, and Yevgeny Konoplyanka gave him a T-shirt. Another race on the field took place during the match “Dnipro” against Donetsk “Metalurg”. Then he also found himself on the field, and received the T-shirt from Ruslan Rotan. In addition, the former player, and now coach, repelled the “White” from the police and led him to the sector.
Artemy was the soul of the company and always came to the rescue in trouble. Before the war, he worked as a security guard in a nightclub, as well as a barista in a coffee machine. Together with his teammates, he participated in the events of the Revolution of Dignity.
With the beginning of the fighting in the East, he joined the newly formed “Azov”. Subsequently, he began volunteering for the OUN battalion, soon joining them because he could not be sidelined. As part of a volunteer battalion, he took part in the battles near Donetsk, was a swarm (commander of a detachment).
Artemy Gorbenko died on October 13, 2015 as a result of enemy grenade attack in the area of the mine “Butivka”, which is between Avdiyivka and N.P. Spartacus. He was buried in the Rybalsky cemetery in his hometown.
