Artem Sukhoviy is a fan of the football club “Dnipro” (Cherkassy).

Artem Olegovich Sukhov was born on July 23, 2000 in the city of Cherkasy. He studied at the Cherkasy Specialized School No. 17, after which he entered the Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, where he received his higher education at the Faculty of History. At an early age, he was fond of climbing, enrolled in the only climbing and mountaineering club in the city at that time. I dreamed of doing this sport professionally in the future.

While still studying at school, he began to support “Dnipro” in the fan sector. Teammates remember him as a 16-year-old boy who grew up and was brave before their eyes. According to the memories of his teammates, Artem quickly joined the team and became an active representative of the fan movement. Attended home and away matches. He worked in the gym named after Sergei Ambrose.

In addition to supporting the team in the sector, Artem was an active participant in the social and social movement of his hometown. From school years he joined the “National Corps”, which was part of the Azov movement. He fought against the anti-Ukrainian influence of the banned OPZH and other pro-Russian manifestations. Together with like-minded people, he resolutely resisted injustice in the courts in the case of the murder of journalist Vasily Sergeenko, illegal buildings, poaching and drug trafficking in his hometown.

In 2019, Artem married his beloved Maria, and in another year they had a son Makar.

For the next few years, Artem lived abroad. At the beginning of a full-scale war, he returned to defend Ukraine. He joined the 3rd OSHBR, in the ranks of which there were already friends from the fan and socio-public movement. He held the position of a combat medic, saved many lives of his comrades.

Also, Artem loved his city very much. While on vacation, he wrote on his page that having the opportunity to go to anywhere in the country, he always sought to return here. I wanted Cherkassy to become a tourist city in the future, where people from all over the country would go.

Artem Sukhovy died on June 27, 2023 as a result of an enemy missile strike on the city of Kramatorsk (Donetsk region). We said goodbye to the fallen defender on the Square of Glory in their native Cherkassy.
